We recently installed wood flooring and bought area rugs. They slid every time you walked on them. I bought the waffle looking rug grippers, but they slid right along with the rug. I just received these and placed them under the area rugs, and they do.not.move. I am thrilled with these. They are the size of a tongue depressor, made of silicone and are re-usable and washable. I got the pkg. of 24, so I have plenty. The only thing I'm not sure of (long term) is if they will "pull" up any finish on the flooring.EDIT - I loved these in the beginning - now fast forward after they have been used - PLEASE do yourself a favor and forgo buying!!! I am sooo angry. I tried to take them up today and change them out, but the glue was next to impossible to remove from my vinyl. I started with soft scrub and a pad, then vinegar, then a mop with hot soapy water, and NOTHING would remove the residual from my floors. My husband finally had to use mineral spirits and then still had to use a plastic knife to scrape it up. 3 hrs. of my time!! I would never suggest these for any type of flooring. I just feel lucky that everything we used did not ruin the finish. I think if you used them for carpet on carpet, you would have to steam clean. I had extras, and they all went in the trash! ZERO stars as of today. Vent over, lol!

These work great have had them on my big throw carpet for months now. No more rug slipping.

These are super easy to understand and stick on. They work great for things like mats for the kitchen sink or bathroom mats. I put them on the mat that is in a high foot traffic area (inside the front door) and they held up for about 3-4 months and then they lost the ability to stick to the mat. Still, good Qty and price. The qty is enough that if they wear out, just replace them (I used 2 sticky's per mat - not 4)

These adhesive pads keep your rug/runner in place like the description states. Keep in mind that both sides of the pads are super sticky and you must lift the corner of your rug with care or you might leave the pad stuck to the floor separated from the rug backing. There are definitely worth the price if you have a rug or mat that likes to move around under your foot or an animal's paw. Delivered quickly and would recommend.
