Sinner Takes All: Alex and Harper Sinner Duet #2 (Mafia Mayhem) Paperback – February 21, 2021

I had book 1 in my TBR Library for a few years and I just recently read it when I did I had to get this book. This is completion to this story. This a well written completion to this story and to be honest I couldn't put it down. I had bought this book before I had finished the first book, that's how good this story is. The characters are awesome and the story just kept getting better. I would encourage everyone to get this duet it is worth your time. This book is the great ending to an awesome story.

A great conclusion to the What Alex wants Duet!Alex and Harper are fantastic together and the story had just the right amount of sexy and romance.

From the beginning of this book I was sitting on the edge of my seat with anxiety of what would happen next. This is an extraordinary book. The way the feelings of the characters in this book are written truly hold you close. You don't want to put this book down until it's finished. There are explicit sexual scenes in this book which I enjoy. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this kind of story. I can't wait for more of E.M. Gayle's books.

I loved the 2 book series!!! E. M. Gayle definitely has what it takes. The 1st book: “What Alex wants he gets”, was so damn good, I was dying to read the conclusion. The 2nd book “What Alex wants he takes” did not disappoint, it was so yumalicious. Of course it was a HEA, but also ended with a possible next book, woohoo!!! Great read!!! Teresa

This was a good read but the main person was dumbHarper and Alex was good together but all thru the 1st and 2nd book she was more in her head then doing the right thing.Alex was the one thinking for Harper telling her what to do like a master should but she could have more back bone being she was running her own catering service

Another great read.. I enjoyed reading and getting to know these two characters, Alex and Harper. The storyline flowed, there was danger, suspense and some really hot hotness going on. Then at the end, I see some more coming out.. Triple Sin.. Hmmmm. Can't wait.

What Alex Wants He Takes picks up where What Alex Wants He Gets left off. Harper's been kidnapped and it'll be up to Alex to rescue her. Or perhaps Ronin will come to her rescue first?Her kidnapper informs her of Ronin and Alex's relationship and it makes Harper even more determined to leave Alex...IF she ever escapes from this psycho's captivity. For his part, Alex is devastated that Harper's been taken, and he's been mulling over Harper's declaration of love ever since. Of course, because he's an idiot man, he hurt her when he didn't respond to her ILY, so he's got a lot of work to do to convince her that he really wants her in his life...IF he ever gets her back from whoever kidnapped her.While I liked this installment of Harper and Alex's story, I am kind of frustrated with Alex. He's a jerk here. He holds off on telling Harper how he feels about her throughout most of the story, instead using sex and his Dom ways to distract her. Sigh...I hate it when characters, usually men, use sex as distraction or as communication because really, nothing communicates with a person quite like actual words. Men!!!Anyway, I'm looking forward to what I hope is the conclusion. I hope these two get everything straight because they are a big mess here in What Alex Wants He Takes.I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.
