Buffalo Games - Charles Wysocki - Love Letter From Laramie - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

My husband and I prefer the scenes and quality of Buffalo Games puzzles over any other brand. The pieces interlock very well but aren’t too hard to get apart when it’s ready to tear down. The pieces are somewhat uniform in size and aren’t too thick to be “woody” but not so thin that they bend. The colors are sharp and rich. This brand has an endless number of scenes at reasonable prices - especially if you watch for temporary discounts. Puzzles are how we get through long dreary winters without going crazy!

The artwork is beautiful! It has it all: the beautiful southwest landscape, horses, a cat, a dog, cowgirls reading their love letters all in the not-too-distant Wild West (Old Glory has 48 stars.) Even a tiny hidden lizard. Unfortunately the quality isn’t Buffalo Games best. LOTS of false fits. So many pieces fit into so many wrong places. Also lots of bent tabs. I have several BG puzzles and their quality has always been good. Hopefully this is just an exception and not the new normal. I’d give it 5 stars if the quality was better.

We've done lots and lots of puzzles through the pandemic, all of them 1000 pieces. I go straight to the Buffalo puzzle store within Amazon whenever I want to order more. I know I'm going to get good quality. We especially like those done by Charles Wysocki because the paintings are crisp. They're not easy (what would be the point of that?), but they're not blurry like some that have frustrated us.

Love Buffalo puzzles, especially Charles Wysocky. This one is different from his usual New England ones and is fun and shows a great depiction of the “Wild West”. Highly recommend, only wish there were more like this one.

I like Buffalo puzzles because they have always been reliably complete and sturdy. I don’t usually rate puzzles or books, but I just wanted a chance to say that this is my favorite Wysocki puzzle ever. Love the romance of it - quite different than his usual.
