The Art of Shaving After-Shave Balm for Men - Face Moisturizer, Clinically Tested for Sensitive Skin, Oud, 3.3 Ounce

Normally I avoid using aftershave products with alcohol in them, but the scent on this is so good that I had to make an exception. I will even wear this as sort of a cologne substitute.

I use four different scents from The Art of Shaving and OUD is one of them. OUD is most definitely a scent that is a like or dislike, with very few of any between. I love this scent. I went through many different shave creams and aftershaves. From inexpensive, Nivea to expensive, The Art of Shaving. The Art of Shaving aftershave is definitely much better than any others I have tried and is a complete staple now. It is however, far too expensive. But, I make the sacrifice for the best there is.

Price aside, I really like but don't love this balm. The scent is masculine and appealing, and it applies easily and absorbs readily. The scent is definitely strong and it lingers a lot longer than my favorite Nivea shave balm, making this seem more like a cologne to me. If you like the scent, that's a great thing, though - as you get an after shave and cologne in one. Oud cologne isn't cheap by any means, so that's a bonus.The reasons that I don't love it are: (1) I think the Nivea balm moisturizes a bit better than this one does, and (2) I don't actually prefer the strong lingering scent because I have a different cologne that I prefer to wear. This one does moisturize well, and the Nivea doing a better job might just be because I'm using less of this because the pump dispenses so little at a time, and I'm already using four pumps worth (and, honestly, how expensive this is per ounce).The bottle and pump are high quality, and given the price, it's probably a good thing to have a pump that dispenses just a little at a time. That gives you the option to easily use however much you want. The Nivea bottle has an open mouth, so you pour out the balm - making it harder to control the amount, but at the cost of the Nivea, that's not a problem for me.This is a nice balm with a strong masculine scent that will last for hours. I prefer my Nivea balm, but I do indeed like this.

This post shave balm has a very nice scent, not too strong. Is has no alcohol so it does not sting your face. It is very soothing to the skin. I use about 6 pumps (about the size of a nickel) which is just the right amount. It is a bit pricy, but I like to pamper myself after a shave. I’m glad Amazon carries this balm so I don’t have to go searching around for it.

awesome aftershave balm and it's everlasting, one bottle on a daily use takes 3 to 4 months to finish. I love it.

Fantastic. Exactly what I expected. Great smell

My wife and I think this smells gross. Mine came broken in the box. Thankfully Amazon refunded upon return. I couldn’t live with myself if I smelt like that.
