Hen Saver Single Strap Chicken Apron/Saddle, Large, Khaki, HSLSS-Khaki

One of my girls had a bare and very sore back from the cockerel and I had tried everything to make it heal. Then I ordered the poultery saddle and it has been brilliant. The large size fits my medium build girl and she's very happy wearing it while her back has healed underneath. It's made of strong material and washes well. I only wish I had bought this years ago.

Great little things, helps prevent the chickens being pecked when they lose their feathers. This give the chicks time to grow their feathers back.

We had an abundance of roosters over for a little while and 3 of our 12 hens were getting over-bred while waiting to get the roosters up to a decent weight. We purchased these, and it kept them off of them so they didn't get tore up. The only problem with them being is the cape covers their oil gland so they can't preen and groom themselves properly with them on. You have to take them off for a night once a week to let them groom so they don't get ragged looking.
