This is a nice thick foam pad that will be a great addition to my wife's craft room. It is a good thickness that stops the needles from piercing and going straight through to her desk. The foam has a rough texture to it, this helps to keep the work in one place, and it stops too much wool from being pushed through as she is stabbing ( there is a small amount that has but was easily removed when finished). She has said it has a little give for if she rests her arm on it, so finding it comfortable to use. At £11.62 at the time of writing this review, it is a good buy and we are hopeful it will last a long time.

It is very expensive for what it is. Unfortunately, I found one much cheaper elsewhere after I had got mine from here, which was of equal quality. Disappointing.
