Happiness comes now and then, we cannot be sure just when. But when it’s there, enjoy each hour because happiness has such power. Joy to you it will bring, even make someone else sing. What peace of mind happiness can show making you and others glow. Nurture it, make it last. Forget the troubles of the past. Never fear that it will go for it could always grow. And then tomorrow there it will be, for happiness can set you free. -----------Author Unknown It’s easy to become overwhelmed in the aggravation and negativity of the day-to-day, even though most of us have plenty to be thankful for. I was inspired recently by something I read online that was made popular by novelist, Elizabeth Gilbert. It was a suggestion to write down one thing that makes you happy each day. You know, the simple pleasures like a hug from your kids or a warm chocolate chip cookie. Whatever made you smile. Save those notes for an entire year. At the end of a year, revisit all those little delights. You’ll likely find your life is more blessed than you thought! I thought it was a terrific idea, and so I set out to create my own Happiness Jar, with a beachy theme, of course! --Each jar is a 1 quart / 32 ounce mason jar with screw top lid. --The jar is approximately 7 inches tall and 3 ½ inches in diameter. --The jar is painted by hand with acrylic paint that was heat set then decorated with jute cord and cute little seashells that I found on Hollywood Beach, Florida.-- Each jar is individually prepared, so there will be slight variations from jar to jar. Grab one of these today and start collecting your simple joys!
