If you’re curious about Keto Chow and wondering how it works and what the flavors are like then this is a good place to start. The shaker bottle is good quality and the lid snaps shut tight so no liquid escapes. These are a good start of flavors, but there are so many more to choose. I love the simpleness of the vanilla flavor and the chocolate tastes like Swiss Miss hot chocolate. The blueberry is a stronger flavor and I turned it into a healthy ice cream treat with the Ninja Creami. The raspberry cheesecake is a stronger flavor as well and probably makes excellent ice cream. I didn’t think I would like the pistachio flavor, but it turned out really good. Surprisingly the salted carmel was my least favorite, but still good. I just probably wouldn’t choose it over the other great flavors. Cool thing is you can experiment with the fat you add, butter, heavy cream, etc and how much water you add. All can alter the taste to make it the way you like. I agree with others that letting it sit in the refrigerator overnight definitely improves the flavor. I’ve made several ahead of time and the ones sitting 2 and 3 days got better. I’m satisfying my sweet tooth while providing my body with nutrition and I’ve lost a few pounds. These make it easier not to cheat as I start back on my low carb journey.

Okay, I have tried 5 of the six flavors that came in the starter bundle. After reading other review I followed their suggestion of leaving it in the fridge overnight. There was no metallic or salty taste and I felt full for a good portion of the day. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a meal replacement and are trying to follow a Keto lifestyle. Onto the important part the flavors. I am not a coffee fan so when I randomly drew the mocha flavor the first day I was a little disappointed. But that all changed soon tasting it, it was very velvety and the flavor was surprisingly good. Strawberry was the next I tried and it was okay, I think strawberry is a complex flavor and it is hard to mimic but this would not be a go to for me. Next was the vanilla and this one tasted like whey to me but both my daughters and wife liked it. Another flavor I would pass on. Chocolate was the next flavor I tried and it was like drinking chocolate milk, the only milk I enjoy drinking. Today I tried the Salted Caramel and the only way to describe this flavor is butterscotch pudding, it was really good but I fell that I would most likely stay away from it as well as butterscotch is a once in awhile flavor not a everyday. I am looking forward to trying snickerdoodle and will update after trying it. Overall this product is worth ever dollar I spent and I will be ordering more from them soon. The flavor is good but if you leave it in the refrigerator overnight as they recommend, it gets too thick for me.

My husband has a protein shake everyday. His go to is Jay Robb chocolate. I have a shake less often, but wouldn’t mind having more flavors. We didn’t like any of the Keto Chow flavors very much. He thought chocolate was ok. I thought it had a weird taste. We tried the shakes with half and half or butter. We let them sit as advised. (We tried 3 hours to overnight) The last two we make with just used unsweetened soy milk and those came out the best actually. The salted Carmel was way too sweet. When I compared the nutritional info between the protein powder we usually buy - they values were almost identical before adding the fat. Except the sodium in Keto Chow is higher. By a lot. And Keto Chow is more expensive. We will stick with grass fed protein powder with natural sweetener - it tastes much better. I’m really glad we got the smallest combo pack to try. Oh - and the the blender bottle that came with the did not work well at all. We finally gave up on using it.

I heard about this product from a patient, so I thought I would give it a try. I decided the sampler pack would be the way to go so I could try a few different flavors. First up, chocolate. It was just ok flavor wise, but it took me two hours to drink it because it gave me nausea. I thought maybe it was a one off, so I thought I would give it one more go. Next I tried the Mocha. I’m not sure how to describe it, but it didn’t taste like Mocha. It was so bad. I took two drinks, and threw it away. I’ve tried a lot of other shakes, many taste artificial or are gritty. These had a great texture, but unfortunately that’s the only good thing I can say. For the price, I’m so disappointed.

I was surprised at how delicious these taste! The variety and how low in carbs they are makes these a total winner in my opinion! Using melted butter gives them a richer, more satisfying flavor. An immersion blender mixes them quickly with no lumps.
