Silver Paint Marker, Perfect For A Number Of Crafting Projects,
I purchased this metallic silver paint marker pen whilst browsing here on Amazon, having been looking for a silver & gold paint marker pen specifically, for an art project I'm currently working on. After browsing a number of various pens I opted for this Edding brand one, as having worked with, & owning this brand of acrylic paint pens, - which are great to work with, & true, vibrant colours, - I figured that this pen would be of the same great quality, & so great to work with & use.I purchased this pen in the silver, & also in the gold, too. They arrived speedily, which was great as I was itching to get going with them, & looking forward to trying them out, & when purchasing these, I did so for the purpose of working on a black base/background, which I thought that these would be ideal for what I wanted them for.I've posted some pics here with my review, which is just the start of the project I'm currently working on, & as you can see, this silver does mark, show, & retain its colour well, on this black background. The pen itself is easy to use. For first time use you need to shake the pen well to ensure the paint is well mixed & free-flowing, & then push the nib of the pen down onto a flat surface (a scrap piece of paper), making sure to fully retract the nib of the pen, to enable the paint to absorb into the nib itself & to flow freely via its nib, whilst using.I've only rated this 3 stars, based only on my experience of using in accordance with this 1 specific project; so far, & therefore, having only applied to/used working on a black, suede-like fabric surface. I found the pen quite easy to use, - the silver stands out well on this fabric & background colour, & it applies well, though it does need a bit of repeatedly going over, in order to obtain this satisfactory stand-out effect/result which I have achieved, & which is the reason I've only given this a 3 star rating, - based on only this 1 surface, so far. Therefore, as this pen is versatile, able to be used on different surfaces such as plastic, wood, etc, it most likely varies in its effectiveness, & ease of use, & density of colour vibrance, dependant on the surface on which you are working on. In general however, the marking is effective, & it did need 2 or 3 interval shakes, just to keep the paint flow going, but so far, on the whole, this pen is both easy to use, & adequately effective too. I'm looking forward to trying these pens out on other surface types too, & discovering which type of surface this is best for using on. For the price, I feel that it IS worth buying, & is a pretty good tool for using on a wide range of art & crafting projects.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase, & would deffo purchase again, in the future.I should also mention that the nib of this pen is an italic/calligraphy style which is fab, as can be used for some rather fancy styled writing. Worth buying, & would, both, recommend, & purchase again, maybe in different different colour selection, if & when needed, in the future.I hope this review, & the pics which I've included with this review, has both been helpful, 😉

It was actually delivered to the right address this time unlike my grandkid’s advent calendars
I will use it to decorate my glass fusing projects.

Exactly what it says !
A beautiful pen with an easy flow. Depth of colour was on point! Lots of positive comments on my final design with this pen!Ensure you shake adequately for the flow to start.

Not good for my purpose
Gold ink took ages to come through and when it did, flooded the nib. On examination the pen barrel had been creased. Not sure this was in transit as it arrived in an undamaged packing. But on examination, there was what I thought was a tiny speck in the crease which could have been a hole letting air in to the tube. In any case, when I tried to use it on the card I had, it wasn’t precise enough for my purposes and I used something else.I have used Edding pens many times and found them good for the price, but I couldn’t get to grips with this one. Probably ok for posters etc. but not for small cards and certificates which I wanted it for

The best for a shiny gold finish on card
Couldn't find a gold pen that didn't soak in to card and look dull, until I tried this. Lovely gold sheen, easy to write with, just shake first and wait for the ink to come down. Used to write wedding place cards.

Good quality
Nothing much to day apart from the fact that it did the job I got it for. The quality is good and it does the job as expected
