This thing works so well, I'm very pleased! I love that there isn't a battery in it to go bad, so unless the motor dies, it will last a very long time! The amount of heat it produces is perfect, and I love how it has two sets of different sizes massagers. It has three settings that are very good, too.

This massage machine works very well. For my lower back, I sit in a recliner, place it up about 2 or 3 inches above the seat, lean back some, and turn it on. It has three settings: massage, vibrate, and both, plus a separate button for heat. I put it on the third setting and add the heat (which is not hard when doing the lower back). I lean back just a little because the muscles want to strain at first. As my muscles relax, I lean the chair back more, and finally after my back is relaxed enough, I am all the way leaning on it. It lasts about 15 minutes, and the directions say to not use it longer than that because it can damage the machine, so I wait at least an hour to do any further massage. The upper back and neck are harder, because it tends to slip down when I recline the chair or lean back. I usually have someone help me put it in place, but I use the same technique to lean back. I find that my back is always at least 50% better, with less pain and more mobility, after the massage is over for either the lower or upper back. This pain relief lasts most of a day, so if I use it two times a day, it is very helpful. My pain is from arthritis, so I don't know how it would help other problems, but I believe it would be useful to anyone with back pain. I bought another one for my daughter, who also has back pain, and she loves it. I think if someone just leans all the way on the machine right away, it would be more painful, so I recommend leaning slowly while you get used to the massage. I also have the foot massage machine from the same company, and it works even better, so I have around 70% less pain after use with it.

I had an old version of this pillow and honestly i liked my old one better. It lasted such a long time i think i had it for 7-8 years before it stopped working. This pillow does get pretty deep in the muscles i use it on my lower back and shoulders/neck and it works amazing. The only negative is it does shut off after maybe 10 minutes or less so you have to keep restarting. The buttons are also surprisingly sensitive I can barely lean on it and it changes the settings. The settings are massage, heat, vibrate, and vibrate while massaging. I don’t care much for the vibrating. I got my old pillow for $20 and it was a lot better quality. I wish they still had that design but I’d still give it 4 stars bc it does work for muscle knots.

With that said I really wish Amazon would quit raising the prices if you've purchased one item and go back to buy it again and they've raised the price by half.. QUIT DOING THAT. YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS!! 🤬 But this particular massager is Amazing! I have purchased a few along with my tense unit. I have scoliosis and rods in my back. So I get pinched nerves and all kinds of knots all the time! I live on my tense unit. But wanted something else. For my husband too. I got a gun massager for Christmas but that just hurts my back. This massager is absolutely perfect! Not a fan of it being plugged in. But it works! Mu husband even loves it! So 3 of us will take turns on it. I went to buy another one because it was like $35. But a month later it raised to $46. I will probably buy another one when ours dies but not now just to have a second one because they raised the price. I would absolutely recommend this massager! It's well made and absolutely relaxing lol! Please go back to the original price and I'll buy 2 more! 1 for me again and 1 as a gift! Sooo much relief! 10/10 would recommend!

I have purchased several of these over the years. I use one almost every night. I have been pleased with them. (I am a hard users on them, and they eventually wear out, but I have always been satisified with the length of time the product lasted, and always pleased enough that I got a replacement. I did not rate previous purchases, but they would have been 5 stars. I had a problem with one, but Amazon replaced it. I have to rate the latest purchase at 3 stars because they have changed the product, and it no longer fits my needs. 1. It now vibrates (which in and of itself is great), but it is now thicker than it used to be. 2. The deep-kneading massage used to be a smooth, continious movement. Now, it is "jerky", which I do not find relaxing. I much prefer the older version. I will not buy this version again.

Works great for my lower back!

I've had the same one for over 7 years and I used it every week since. Just love it. It eventually died and I bought the same model the same day. It work as well as the first one I had. Good quality, durable! Highly recommand it. Work great for headhaches or back pain.

My girlfriend was having constant neck pains (it stems from a trampoline injury in her youth), and it flares up during extended studying or lab work. Since I couldn't keep up with the massage demands this was chosen as an alternative. Her particular interest was the portability and easy to store shape compared to some of the competition. There is a heat setting that can be added and an auto time off. There is also a vibration feature that can be used with our without the massage feature and the buttons are built into the pillow (like pillow buttons) making them really unobtrusive to the experience. The massage feature itself is very intense (it is made up of 2 large and 2 small hard balls that rotate in unison) and you can move yourself up and down and flip the pillow around for a different feel/intensity. This can real change the type of massage you get. After a little time we started using it on feet, calves, and thighs - it really is amazing how flexible this neck pillow can be. One of the best features is the strength of the motor, it seems difficult to bog down and can handle a lot of pressure which is refreshing when things are typically underbuilt today.
