I used for a backlight
I’ve been looking for a way to highlight my new fire installation. With a worry about heat and the cost of power I decided to try and find something rechargeable and these seemed ideal. Also they are floor standing so can be placed in a cool area, are narrow and bright and not expensive. They can still be used outside and for camping! So this was straight out of the packet and not fully charged, nor was it really dark outside to get the full effect. I like them and they are exactly what I needed.

One is no longer holding its charge after 3 months
On the plus side, these are bright units, with 3 brightness setting and are very light. Unfortunately, after very little use, one of them now only holds its charge for a day when not in use. Add to that the fact that every time I switch them on, I have to cycle through the settings to get to the one I want rather than it remembering where it was when switched off, I won't be buying any more of these.

Good bright lights
In the event of power cuts this coming winter I decided to get some emergency lighting and after seeing, and buying, these I hope that any night time blackouts will be covered. They are nice and bright and no trouble to charge with the cables provided. My lights are now charged up and waiting to be called into action. Unfortunately I can’t comment on the battery life yet since I haven’t needed to keep them on until the battery dies

I haven’t used them long enough to comment on battery life.

Nice lamps work well

Good light. Emergency only for charging a phone.
Works very nicely as a light once you get used to the switch. It only takes a light touch to change modes, not a full click.High power seems to last about 2 hrsLow power lasts over 5 hrsCharging a device is less successful. It got my mobile from 50% to 75% before running out. Ok in a emergency but not something to rely on

Perfect for a ‘storm kit’
This is my third order of these terrific little lamps. I got one set for myself to keep in my storm bin along with external power supplies (charged) and spare charging cables for important electronics (iPhone, iPad, etc.) They are a great size and for being relatively small, they provide a lot of light and last a long time. They are small enough to carry around the house during a power failure. After ordering a set for myself, I gave a set to my best friend and recently sent a set to my son ahead of a hurricane predicted for his area. My set is at least 2 years old and all the lamps still work flawlessly. The little handle on top is well designed to stay out of the way unless needed to carry the lightweight lamp or to hang it.

Love
These are great when camping without electricity! They really light up the room.

Perfect for Power Outages
We live in a remote area where the power sometimes goes off weekly or more in the evenings. These lights have been a savior. Not only do they provide light, but they also charge your cell phone to keep you entertained until bedtime.

kiddie toys
They might be great for 'camping' in the back yards for kids sleep overs. They might be good for slumber parties or for Jack-O-Lanterns in the fall or Christmas decorations...... But I don't think they are good for any kind of overnight camping in the woods for a long night, or a weekend. I would test them out before you consider trying them out camping. We returned ours as they were intended for storms and earthquake usage...and that is not what they could be depended upon for. These seem to be for fun and a good time, not for survival or 'existing' out from a residence.

Nice little lights.
They do what they are supposed to do... provide light. They are made a little "cheaper" than a similar set I bought from another brand, but they should be just fine. One lantern puts out enough light to be functional in a small room, or a tent. Haven't tested battery life yet. Will update when I do. As of now... recommended.
