This is not the Paul Stamets of "Fantastic Fungi". Information in this book may not be accurate and could make someone really sick or worse. this is false, tricky advertising and WAY to expensive for a POS, poor grammar, misspelling, bad editing job, come on folks is this where we are at now in this country?I give it 1 star for effort.

Not written by the well known mushroom expert Paul Stamets, this is a transparent attempt to cash in on his name. Almost every sentence has grammatical issues, and overall the writing is hard to understand. Don't make the mistake that so many of us did, and save your money.

There are so many errors in simple sentences. One sentence will start and then it’ll drop off at the end and another one starts. This book sucks.

This book is a total fake, a complete forgery. The middle initial of his name isn’t even correct on the book. Do NOT purchase. No editing, garbage grammar… going to return immediately

The author may be a psilocybin savant, but not a savant at expressing it in understandable terms. Clearly, no editing or spell checking was performed prior to publishing.

As most of the reviews state, this book is terrible. It is chock full of poor writing, almost like it was a first draft that wasn't proofread or edited. The typeface is also way too large, and the line spacing too big, it makes it hard to read the book.

This author is a brilliant man but it is not reflected in his writings. A good editor would have improved his book immensely . The content was average and I expected more detail on growing and harvesting. Overall this book was lacking.

If i could give zero stars, i would have. For mycology and Paul Stamets fans, this book was NOT written by the man you think. I bought this book as a last minute birthday gift for my husband. After he started reading it, he pointed out numerous typos. When I looked at it myself, there is no publishing company and no editor. Not to mention, the real Paul Stamet's middle name is Edward. Do not get tricked into buying this book.
