I was mistaken, someone at my home received my item.

I've only eaten at Via Carota once, and it was amazing. I've made everything I had that first visit and they've turned out perfectly. Trying new recipes and looking forward to my next trip to NYC.I love the helpful notes the chefs include with many of the recipes. Example: For their brine, they say it should taste less salty than the sea. I know what that tastes like! It makes it so easy to just make a little batch if that's all that's needed.

Compared to some Italian recipe cookbooks these recipes are detailed with ingredient and preparation tips at the end. It is beautiful to view and the recipes appear deceptively simple. The butternut squash risotto was silky and rich — the type of rice recommended makes a huge difference and all of the steps in this recipe were clear. The cannellini beans with sausage was a savory surprise! Delicious!For someone who enjoys cooking, this book shows the sophisticated difference between our heavy spaghetti and meatballs to dining fresh, innovative Italian. The book is a joy for seekers of something new to serve for dinner.

Great cookbook with pictures to show you the how the finished product is supposed to look. Recipes are very yummy!

I ordered this book which is beautiful with great recipes but they shipped it USPS and all the corners were banged up. Typical of the Post Office which is also usually a late delivery. I returned that book and reordered it and this time they shipped it UPS. Good Job. It came packaged in just a padded paper envelope and it was perfect. Thank you for listening. I love the book and can't wait to make some of these recipes. I just could not see keeping a book that looked used for over $35.

I bought this book because I was watching Andy Cohen and he highly recommended it. I really don’t know if this books recipes are good or not I haven’t tried them yet because I’m not a fan of the layout of the book. It’s not easy to find recipes 🤔 so I gave up. I ended up just googling recipes for the restaurant. If I were the restaurant owners from this book, I would definitely sue the publishing company because of how horrible the layout is of the book..

I have become so tired of reading pages and pages about the author and about the individual recipes that it seems cookbooks are turning into memoirs. This one has brief but so interesting stories about the authors and very short comments about the recipes with clear instructions and lovely photography. I want to cook delicious recipes not become your best personal friend forever. Maybe I’m a little cranky today. But if you agree with me, this book is for you, as well as Jody’s first book, Buvette, which has fallen into disrepair as I use it so often. (I am also tired of dishes that look like a dog’s breakfast…everything chopped, smooched, and crushed together in one mass…no need for a fork and knife as a porridge spoon will do.)

I love this book. The recipes that I've tried are simple, unique and delicious. My Son has this good and my daughter in law has one I just bought her for her birthday. I recommend this book.

Es ist ein wirklich wunderschön aufgemachtes Buch, was wohl viele Rezensenten zu einer positiven Bewertung veranlasst hat. Wenn man dann aber wirklich mal den Topf auf den Herd stellt und die Rezepte ausprobiert, bleibt man ratlos zurück. Es ist, als ob die Mengen vollkommen falsch bemessen wurden, zu viel von dem einen, zuwenig von dem anderen. Das heute ausprobiert Ragu wurde so süß (viele Zwiebeln und Karotten, der Geschmack des Stangenselleries unangenehm präsent), dass ich nun mit Gegenmaßnahmen den Rettungsversuch antrete. Mein Fazit: dieses Kochbuch hätte für alle Via Carota Liebhaber ein Glücksgriff werden können, allerdings wurden die Mengengrößen des Restaurants nicht korrekt auf die Haushaltsgrößen umgerechnet, anders kann ich mir das Resultat nicht erklären...Sehr Schade!
