Sun Joe SPX-25HD 25-FT Heavy-Duty Extension Pressure Washer Hose for SPX Series

This hose is exactly what is needed for the Sun Joe 3000 pressure washer. While one the biggest reasons people buy the Sun Joe is for washing cars, the supposed 20 foot hose that comes with it is annoyingly just to short to go around a medium size car completely. If I had the pressure washer at the front of the car, I could not completely rinse the back end of my small/medium cars. I would have to drag the pressure washer to one side so I can completely rinse the back. I then ordered several hoses but came to find out that Sun Joe uses a non-standard M22 15mm fitting while most pressure washers are 14mm. I had to return them. I also bought one popular one that fit and has the 15mm fitting, but the the strain relief ends would slide down so there was no protection from pulling on the hose and damaging it at the fitting. Finally I ordered this one. It is freaking perfect. I has the correct Sun Joe 15mm fittings on both sides and it is the exact same type of hose and ends that came with pressure washer, just 6 feet longer. Yes that is not a typo. While the specs say the Sun Joe comes with a 20 foot hose, this one is just over 6 feet longer so it is PERFECT for washing a car. No more extra hose that you need, just enough to get the job done right. It looks top quality just like the original one with exact same material, markings and specs. Furthermore, because it is an extension hose, it comes with a brass fitting to extend the original one. So if I ever needed something longer, I could attach the old 20 foot hose to this one and have 45 foot hose combined. I wish I would've seen this the first time but there were some bad reviews saying it was cheap or from a different manufacturer. The hose I received is EXACTLY the same original equipment hose that comes with the Sun Joe 3000. I guess Sun Joe made an extra $37 off me but I did drop their review of the pressure washer a star because it is not the easiest to move around and with the just-to-short for the job hose, it is aggravating. They should include this hose with the Sun Joe and charge $5 or $10 more and people would be happy and people would still buy the extension hose for bigger projects too. This is one is absolutely worth the $10 over the other generic hoses I ordered before.

This extension hose was just what we needed. We weren't thrilled at having to pay more for something that's almost so necessary a strong argument could be made that it really should ship with the washer (or a MUCH longer hose than our Sun Joe came with anyway). There were cheaper extension hoses on amazon, some offered by Sun Joe itself. But they weren't as well made. We feared they wouldn't hold up to dragging over concrete or old wood decking that might have a splinter or two. So when we saw them running a sale on this hose, which appeared to be the same quality as the one that came with our pressure washer, we jumped. And it indeed does fit our expectations, matching the quality of the original Sun Joe hose.Upon using the Sun Joe pressure washer the very first time, it was obvious that if something fails, it's probably going to be where the water hose (coming from the spigot) attaches to the machine. No matter how careful you are, that seems to be the part of the design with the most stresses being applied to it. So anything you can do to reduce how much you have to move the washer is going to be worthwhile. These washers are not made for commercial use. Adding this extension hose, which is about 5 feet longer than the hose that came with our pressure washer, to the hose that came with the unit, really makes all the difference in avoiding moving the washer as much. With the hose that came with the washer, we couldn't even wash a small-size car without repositioning the washer 2-3 times. Now we can clean the entire deck around a 50,000 gallon in-ground swimming pool without having to move it more than the same.

I ended up getting this as a replacement hose for the hose that originally came with the Sun Joe SPX3000, though the product info and reviews seemed to indicate that this hose was only an attachment to the original hose to increase the working length. The original hose, too short for many jobs, was pretty flimsy and split off at the connector to the machine as I was wrestling the power washer around the side of a rental. I removed the attachment connecting brass unit on the new, extension hose and screwed the extension hose into the washer as its main hose. It works just fine as a replacement hose. In fact, it is way better than the original hose, like 100% better in quality and durability. Right off the mark, first time use, there was a noticeable feel in performance from the washer and in handling. The hose is still a beast to wrap for storage, but I have a feeling that this hose is going to last longer and preform much better than the original Sun Joe power washer hose.

Needed a replacement hose for my sunjoe pressure washer and ran over to Harbor Freight and Home Depot, neither had anything that would work. Looked it up on Amazon, found this and was back in action the following day. Arrived quickly and works perfectly, you just have to remove the adapter at one end (takes 2 minutes and a pair of pliers) and you’ve got a new hose. Even better if you just need an extension too.Arrived fast, price was good and it’s just as good as my original hose, that lasted 6 years.

This one is rubber, so no kinks, thank goodness. The plastic version is not so friendly unless it's in the sun or it's a hot day. Hoping this lasts. I was extending my Sun Joe to just over 50' of hose with this one. No noticeable pressure drop. Occasional delay for full power spray, but believe that is a water volume supply issue and not the longer hose.
