Q: Can this be used to polish and protect boats ?

Try a test spot. I did on my boat and it seemed to work pretty good. Of course this totally depends on your gel coat condition.

Q: Can i use a wax for higher gloss after using this?

No because uno has a built in sealant

Q: Can this product be used in the sun

You should never apply any polish/compound in direct sunlight

Q: How long does it last?

Depends on weather exposure. Parked outside, I'd give it a month. In a garage, two months. I wipe UnoProtect off after 20 minutes with a spray of P+S BeadMaker. Unbelieveable shine and protection for so little effort.
