Things Take Time, Take Time is an assured leap forward for Barnett; a breakthrough really. This is Barnett at her most relaxed, creative and joyful. An exquisite look at the intimate, private world created by Barnett and drummer/producer Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Cate le Bon, Kurt Vile). It's consequently her most beautiful and intimate record to date.

Very enjoyable listen. Every song is super.
A bit more dreamy and softer side of Courtney than her last album. My only complaint it that it's over too fast.Sound quality on the blue vinyl is exceptional. It's one of those albums that you will want to listen to over and over.I lover her band with Dave and Bones,,,, however the musicianship on this one is great.

Received Urban Outfitters exclusive
Received the Urban Outfitters exclusive color in color vinyl instead of the "all eyes..." blue version. It's a white in blue melt which looks pretty cool. Side A has lots of surface noise, and side B has a warp which doesn't seem to effect play. The songs are mostly great, so I'm pleased enough with what I got.

Kind of boring
I absolutely love all of her prior releases. This one is just kind of boring. All songs are unforgettable mid tempo tunes. I dont think she has the vocal chops to pull of an entire album of mellow songs. Listened to it three times; just never grew on me.

Nice record, but not as good as some of the earlier offerings
A little too much on the mellower side for me, but the insightful and humorous lyrics still abound.

No issues to report

Ready to take a nap?
I'm sorry, but this offering is too mellow. I prefer to hear Courtney rock out and this doesn't do that. Plus, her voice is not great for ballads.
