It does what it’s supposed to do.
I used this to replace my 2014 hot tub pump that was OEM. This pump is quiet and does it’s job to power the hot tub. I’m very pleased. The only thing that didn’t work was how the frame lined up. Made it work though and didn’t have to bolt it down cause it’s tight and not going anywhere. The wet end is different than my OEM. That was the only thing. Cause my OEM wet end isn’t made anymore. Still works! Good buy!

Installed ok. Runs quiet and so far, we’ll!
The product was a good fit for my Hotspot Relay. I did have to loosen pump end to change discharge direction but the was east. Would recommend someone with experience do the job. I’ve done this type of job and had no issue. On a non-product related note: I found I had a two pump hot tub. The other pump was froze up also. Fortunately, the new pump handles the maintenance cycle and low speed water jets. So Be advised! Some hot tubs have two pumps. 2nd pump ( same as this one) goes in next Spring.

Motor worked for 2 days then burned up. Just humms and blows fuses.
Unless it was the motor i bought, dont waste your money. Got 2 days out of it

Missing plug and no switch
I have always used Waterway pumps with my pool. I ordered this one because it is a 2hp 2 speed pump which is what I use. Got the pump and it looks great. Problem is there is no plug and no switch. I didn't pay over $400 to get a "2 speed pump" with no switch to use 2 speeds. Also not going to buy a cable and wire the thing.
