Night Owl 4 Channel Bluetooth Video Home Security Camera System with (4) Wired 4K UHD Indoor/Outdoor Spotlight Cameras with Audio and 1TB Hard Drive

The seller was great. When I got the cameras I installed them and one of the cameras last about 2 hours and went off. I trouble shot the camera and figured out the camera was bad. The next day I called night owl and after being on the phone with them over an hour, troubleshooting the same steps I did the night before, they determined the camera was bad. Duh. Then I send nightowl the Amazon receipt and they said they didn’t warranty third party sellers. It was a foreigner and I couldn’t understand anything he said to make matter worse. I told him I purchased it off of Amazon and I didn’t know it was a third party to no avail. I contacted the seller and they send me another camera. The system works great, great picture, and it talks automatically. Nightowl is a rip off. I will not be buying any more of their products. I had a nightowl system for five years before this one and that is why I went back with nightowl despite the bad reviews. They lost a customer with this deal. All they had to do was warranty their stuff. Disappointed with nightowl. But the seller was awesome.

This system is an easy install and has good clarity on both the live screen and playback. Good system for the money. Some people want to write a book instead of a review to impress the reader of their expertise and jargon. Nowadays we expect too much from technology. When hard wired, yes, hard wired it works as an excellent HOME security system. Some reviewers are expecting a bank caliber monitoring system instead of the residential application it was designed for. Like I said, good system for the cost and works well. Have installed 2 Night Owl systems in different locations with virtually no hassles.

Do NOT Night Owl products. Their technology for vehicle and human recognition does NOT work. I received false vehicle and human recognition from multiple cameras as many as 30 times day. Also Night Owl will NOT honor their warranty if bought through Amazon.

So we got these cameras expecting that because they say they have audio that they could record audio as well. NO they can not! they are ONE WAY audio ONLY! Sorry but thats Stupid! whats worse is nothing on the box or instructions explain this! Very Very Misleading!!! >:-( we would have never got them if they did not have the ability of 2 way audio!everything else with them is great. very disappointed about the audio!

These are the worst cameras I’ve ever seen. It’s like being in the nose bleed section of a ball game to view. You also need the internet t view the cameras. Almost like sharing your view with someone else. This dvr wasn’t connected to any internet when I received an email thanking me for registering my unit after I powered it on. I regret my purchase, that’s for sure!

I should have realized, but in product details (in 2 places) description said was wireless. Not sure why. Doesn't need electric maybe, BUT IT IS WIRED TO THE NVR.

Bought an 8-camera systems and after 30-day warranty two cameras didn't work and no longer available. No customer support and sends you into the endless circle of online nothing. DVR is extremely hard to use and the app just doesn't work. TERRIABLE product.
