Kase Black Mist Soft Focus Universal Magnetic Smartphone Filter Optical Glass

As a photographer the Black Mist filter is easily one of my favorites for a nice stylistic look. Having the ability to capture that look on my phone has been fun and interesting for impromptu iPhone shoots with myself or friends.This is fun to use, but since I don’t shoot on my phone much not sure how much use it’ll get from me

Good idea but the magnets are to strong on the filters and removes the magnet for the phone.

Not good idea to spend that much money for this, use CPL better, the star is ugly

I have started using my iPhone for photography more and more, so I love that Kase is offering real glass filters for your phone. I got the black mist filter to use in situations where I want to lower the contrast of a scene, or to make portraits look a little more dreamy. Phones take such great photos nowadays, and it's nice to have the ability to be creative 'in camera' on your phone instead of having to make edits in post.The one thing I don't love about this filter is the necessity to add a magnet to the back of you phone. I have a hard time deciding if I should stick it to the phone itself or a case, because I have not learned how to remove them efficiently. Also, if you do remove the magnet, it will be destroyed. I did not see where you can buy additional magnets, but I imagine that is on the agenda for Kase if it's not available already. This way, you can use the filters on multiple phones or even a tablet.I really like ND filters so I'm probably going to buy that one for my phone as well, and you can even stack them to make special effects. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of this filter and would recommend to anyone who wants to be more creative with their phone photography.
