The media could not be loaded. I bought this after a previous cutter turned out to be very disappointing. I was looking one to cut 4/0 AWG (120mm2) high strand count welding cable so I needed something that was able to cut strands - which means tight tolerances between the cutting surfaces. And this does the job beautifully - at least on four core stranded mains cable. The video shows that. This tool is meant for cutting much thicker cable but the fact that it cuts the thin cable is testament to the quality. From having seen one of the other reviewers cutting through a beast of high power cable, I have no doubt this will work beautifully for my next task - I will update this review accordingly. The handles are quite widely spaced so you need big hands (which I have). The blades are thick - the whole tool is really heavy duty. I still think it could be improved if there was a way to narrow the blade - guide slot - I might yet take it apart and do a little bit of re-engineering.

i needed a cutter to cut 240mm cables, this did the job with no problem

It works, but the instructions are written poorly (no doubt a translation from Chinese). The diagram which shows the parts is a mirror image of the real device. This suggests little concern for the user.

Does the job great. Like a hot knife through butter! At a great price too. Highly recommend

It does cut through 35mm swa cable

Would be better if each closing of the ratchet handle did more than one click.Still tidier than hacksaw and works in tighter spaces than a grinder

I use it not so often but so far it performed as it is was intendedDon’t know how long it will last but it has paid for itself already
