Overall, this was a great kit. The selection of bags was more than sufficient, the labels stuck and the OA's were in good condition. Yes, the smallest bags were pretty much worthless but there were plenty of the more usable sizes. The smallest bag might be good for seed saving or something of that nature. Some have noted that the bags could be thicker. I felt like I needed to be careful pulling tops open after closing the zipper, the zipper seal is strong and the amount of tug it takes to open it feels like it could rip the bag. However, I bagged bow-tie pasta a week ago and the bags have since sucked-in tight against the pasta and are holding up just fine. The bags wouldn't be great for opening and closing on a regular basis but if your primary purpose is storage, they seem to be working great.

It’s really nice to purchase something and receive better quality than expected. I’ve noticed that many companies are falsely advertising their thickness and oxygen absorber types. Many companies are advertising 100cc oxygen absorbers as 300cc but not this company. The oxygen absorbers are authentic 300cc oxygen absorbers each one I used performed greatly. 300cc absorbers are bigger in size and weight than the 100cc always make sure you are getting the authentic 300cc Oxygen ansorbers!!! The bags are advertised as 4 mil, but they are, in fact, thicker than 4 mil. The back and front of the bag are thicker than 4 mil in thickness on each side. The bags also hold a great seal. I love the honesty and the quality of this company. Finally, I found a reliable source for long term storage bags. Happy with every aspect of my purchase I recommend this product.

Have a tiny straw or never used tube off a spray can that's taped to the side of can. It would be perfect for this. It came much faster than, said.I have not tried any of them. I do say, that they feel nice and thick. I got the verity package, I didn't know what I would need for packaging food. I'm writing long turm storage, so the smaller ones, I kinda have to think about it; Spice like Saffron, something exotic, that I'd want to a keep long time.Did not know that it was made in china that's the only grip I have. I wish it was American made. I've got to read more closer next time. I do have them, now. So I will make do, and suck it up.But the quality is there an that's most important thing.

I should have written this earlier. Bags were great but the oxygen absorbers were spent when I got the package.—-update I was a little irritated with the problem. I did not contact the provider directly but from my review they reached out to make things right. They went over and above to to resolve the problem and ensure my satisfaction. I WIlL order from them again.

Great Value!! High Quality Thick bags. Lots of different sizes & beneficial sizes. Great for long term use and everyday use. We use the big bags for long term storage such as rice, beans, flour, grains, dried food, beef jerky, etc. My wife loves the small bags as she is always on the go so they are perfect for vitamins, tea bags, candy, snacks, and condiments or seasonings for her meals. They fit perfectly in her purse and are smell-proof, and can be washed at the end of the day and reused. Oxygen Absorbers worked great. Labels were a nice touch. I highly recommend these bags!!

I have already went through over half of the entire pack, because I am addicted, not only to these mylar bags because they are so easy to use but also to dehydrating things!For those of you who are wanting to buy, make sure when you buy it to get an airtight container or a jar that will keep the air out to put your deoxidizers it, because they will get very very, very hot and then once they get that hot, they will not work after that so make sure you put them in an airtight container as soon as you open them! And sealing these mylar bags is very easy. I actually just used an old hair iron that I have, and held it for just a couple seconds and it was sealed and readyTo go!

I am so happy with my mylar bags. This set is convenient because it comes with the oxygen absorbers and different size bags. They are great quality.
