Having been left with a discrepancy in my leg length after a hip replacement, I have tried virtually all the inserts I can find on the websites. Some are obviously better than others. However, this product - Dr. Foot's heel life inserts are by far and away the best. They are the most comfortable, give the correct support and the two inserts can be used in left or right shoes. I need them for my left shoe and always had to discard the insert for the right foot when they came as a pair. I have ordered another pair of these inserts and recommend them 100%. They are wonderful.

I had an accident, then surgery, now my leg is 1 1/4” shorter.I purchased 8 different lifts. They ranged from:Once you’ve stood up and your weight is in the lift….the majority failed.Others were half the size they advertise.The lifts with little balls incorporated within the product…. Dropped from 1” to 5/8” immediately. They collapsed over time.The lifts that you build up yourself, come apart after wearing and over time parts end up by your toes.The lifts with gel have an odd smell after one wearing. Not my shoe… the lift.This lift is comfortable and remains the height you’ve purchased.I suggest, if your on your feet all day… buy a well built one like this excluding about 1/4” and top it with a regular full gel insert that matches that 1/4”.Keeping your body aligned with a proper lift is not only healthy but helps you achieve “pain free movement” which means the world to me.

I have had a leg length discrepancy for more than a year now, since hip replacement surgery. In trying to figure out the best way to go about getting a heel insert, I explored a few different options. One way is to see a podiatrist and have her/him write a prescription for a custom insert. On the suggestion of a family member, I tried Amazon and much to my surprise I found many options. Based upon the reviews, the return policy, available customer service to assist if needed, and of course the price and Prime shipping, I figured it was worth a try - and I am very happy with the results.

Due to a car wreck, one of my legs is significantly shorter than the other which causes me back pain. I have worn a custom made 1 inch lift inside the shoe of the shorter leg on and off for years. Once it starts hurting my heal, I stop using it until my back starts hurting and then I start using it again; this pattern has been cycling for years. These are way more comfortable against my heal than the custom ones and the pair of these cost less than the copay for an individual insert made locally.

I tried other three models, and these ones are by far the best. Very comfortable, feels natural under my feet, barely notice i have them, the other ones were awful.
