I love these gloves so much - they give you amazing confidence and protection.
For mid-level, high quality boxing gloves, you'd be hard pressed to look beyond a solid pair of twins special (unless you want to go a step further and invest in a pair of grants or cleto reyes but they will set you back a WEDGE).First of all the look. I bought these in a unique black and luminous green and I feel really proud of them when I take them out and use them at my muay thai gym. Brand new, you can smell the quality of the leather and it is a supple, sturdy leather, oozing high-quality.I bought the 16oz as I'm quite a big lad and they looked bigger then the 16oz lonsdales I used previously (which I would NOT recommend whatsoever). This is obviously great for guarding, blocking and parrying, but trying to penetrate tight gaps quickly can sometimes be harder then it should be. In this case, I would recommend the 14oz' as they are marginally smaller and more penetrative but of course, you'll be less protected when guarding. The padding on the front of the glove is significant and straight and your hands feel like they're being hugged by clouds when your punching. The wrist strap is massive and as the glove itself sits quite low on the arm, your wrist feels locked into place, crucial when hooking or throwing uppercuts.Next the feel and use of the gloves. One thing you must realise - they are TIGHT when you first put them on, even without wraps. Don't let this sway, in fact you should have faith that these are a sign of a great quality glove. The place for the thumb is a great place to be and feels SO secure, giving you the most amazing confidence in striking with full commitment and force. The fact that the wrist straps lie so low on the arm does wonders for the support of your whole fist and protects you when throwing power punches and combos.I can't speak highly enough about this glove. I'm going to Thailand next year (where these gloves are made) and I'm going to buy a couple more pairs because I love them so much. If your on the fence when choosing your next set of boxing gloves, you can't go wrong with a decent set of twins.

Decent
I have now used these gloves for a year, and they have been quite great. They're a great beginner glove as they're quite bulky and helps with having a tight guard. The leather feels great, the inside is nice and tight, so much that I stopped using wraps for a while as the wrist support is really strong and the padding is nice and thick. The main issues I have with these gloves started wearing down quite quickly - just after 3 months of use I started seeing slight discolouration. I do understand that a lot of it can come from doing up the Velcro with the glove, but I was using my mouth for that a lot of the time to keep the gloves nice and red. Secondly the gloves get really sweaty and absorb smells very easily, so I recommend getting a glove deodorizer.Overall it's a really decent glove for the price.I tried both Fairtex and Yokkao on for a comparison but Twins was the most comfortable option for me.

Great product
I had 5 or so other pairs of gloves but these are really high quality and even after countless hours of usage, they still hold up.comfortable, made for muay thai, and high quality.they are cool and might be cheaper in the long run than a more economical pair as these pack value. Buy if you are serious about the sport and you want to do it for more than 6 months.you don’t need it if you practice muay thai in a fitness environment as these are specifically made for clinching, etc. which might not be relevant for pure fitness applications.also i feel like you need a bit of skill to pull them off ;)

Love my gloves, haven't used them with a heavy bag yet.
Love my gloves, haven't used them with a heavy bag yet, only pad work. Very comfortable, my only criticism is after 30min of hitting the pads my little finger starts aching. However I think that's because I'm new to boxing. Me and my wife both use the gloves, I'm a big lad and she's petite. I brought the 14oz black

Great all round
Amazing value! I had a pair of bad boy training gloves that cost roughly the same and these blow them out of the water. The fit is quite snug but I have large hands and they're not uncomfortable. They're also a bit more flexible so it's easier to open your hands when you have them on, which is useful for clinching. The padding is firm and the stitching is good. They feel like they'll last a long time. I've had them for a few months now and they still look new. They ship from Thailand but they arrived incredibly quickly, before another order I placed at the same time that shipped from the UK.Don't hesitate, get these.

Great Glove, a little snug
So far, I am enjoying the Twins gloves. They are a little more snug than the ones I have used in the past. I use them for Krav Maga, MMA and Muay Thai. They are less rigid than my previous gloves, allowing me to grab and clinch easier.Let's see how they last (which is the primary reason I bought them), all my earlier gloves lasted only 2 years max!

Worth Every Penny
These Twins Special Muay Thai Boxing Gloves BGVL-3 gloves are the most expensive gloves I've owned (managed to get them for £43 through receiving a gift card). They just ooze quality as soon as you hold them.I have small/medium sized hands and purchased the 16oz version, I don't tend to wear wraps at the moment but they still fit fine. They are a little tight around the fingers at first but seem to be getting better with use.

Wrong colour
Got them in the black and pink colourway. However the pink was only inside but not on the edges of the wrist as pictured. Little but disappointed.
