Sold/listed by Active Life Store, both the Bell Sidetrack II UY and UC are MIPS in the Gloss Blue/pink helmet. (others colors, too)

Q: The chin strap broke - its only 6 months old. Is there a warranty??

Likely yes. The best course of action would be to contact Bell directly, 1-800-456-2355. It's possible that they can replace the broken part. Ideally you'd bring it into your nearest Giro\Bell dealer (they are the top helmet brand carried) and they will exchange it for you. The Bell rep that you talk to can help you with the process. Yes, all bicycle helmets by law must have chin straps, they just dont photograph nicely.

Q: Can this be used for general pavement biking? i want something very safe but they call this a trail biking helmet?

It can. Will be a bit heavier and have a larger presence on your head, compared to a "general pavement" bike helmet.
