Gorgeous rocking horse
I bought this as a Valentine's Day gift for my girlfriend, and she loved it. I was a bit nervous about it after reading a previous review, but that just goes to show that you can't always trust reviews. The comment that it was "dollar store quality" is ludicrous. It is a nice size and weight and feels like a high-quality item. The paint job is gorgeous and carefully applied. Beautiful pastel colors and intricate details. The music is also very nice - the tune is nice and the notes sound very crisp and clear. You can see from the bottom that the music box is plastic (at least the bottom part is), but the pin that rocks the horse back and forth is metal. It's a bit pricey but it is from the San Francisco Music Box Company and most of their stuff is a bit pricey. It arrived intact and packed safely. I'm very glad I bought this item. Don't hesitate to pick this up for yourself or a loved one.
