BERKLEY Born in Fire

Unusually for Nora Roberts this book lacks any plot except the usual will they / won't they. It is, dare i say it, incredibly boring. The main character for me is aggressive and, quite frankly, unappealing. The fiddle-y-dee irish thing is overdone a bit as well in my opinion. I skimmed through the last two chapters because i really didn't care what happened i just wanted to make sure i didn't miss anything that would be relevant for the second book.Bought the trilogy as a set from Amazon and am a bit dubious about starting the second but hopefully it might liven up a bit.

I am a big fan of Nora Roberts & this book (the first of a trilogy), did not disappoint. In fact I waited until I had all three books before starting to read the first as I knew that I would be impatient to know what happened next!!I really enjoyed reading it & highly recommend it.Another satisfied Nora Roberts’ reader & Amazon customer!

Great read and a wonderful trilogy too, just love Nora Roberts

Product was received on time and in excellent condition. It was bought for my wife so I haven't actually read it yet but I can vouch for the story telling of the author Nora Roberts a.k.a. P. D. Robb. I have read another of her novels The Black Hills which is an adventure/mystery/detective thriller. I can actually feel myself following the characters footsteps because I have been to the Black Hills of Dakota. An excellent novel for young adults.
