My daughter has ‘Skeeter Syndrome’ where she gets really bad allergic reactions from mosquito bites. So im on the hunt for mosquito repelling oils for homemade bug spray. I attempted making bug spray using Citronella Plant and apparently it’s not the same as Citronella Grass, even tho they smell similar. This product says it’s made with the grass so I’m excited to try this out ! This oil seems to be potent! I added 20 drops into my homemade bug spray and it smells great! We sprayed ourselves down last night before going into the backyard and none of us got bit so im hoping this helps us going forward!

I purchased this patchouli oil because I have been having a hard time finding my usual brand. I did not have high hopes, as my husband and I are VERY fussy about patchouli. We were pleased with this brand. The scent bites your nose a little at first and then you get that wonderful earthy musk! The only complaint is that the scent does not have the kind of staying power we are used to and I have to add a little more here and there to the shampoo we buy the patchouli for. I will probably buy this stuff again, the smell is exactly what we love in a patchouli oil!
