Not very comfortable
I have owned the cheaper version sleep mask from MZOO for over 2 years now. Unfortunately the stitching has come apart around the nose and is starting to separate. I saw this "better" sleep mask for twice the money and thought I would give it a try. I liked that the edge was sewn better, and that it was delicate machine wash capable. The other MZOO mask is hand wash only.Sadly, this new mask's foam edge around the eye cups is a lot harder. Yes, it does block out more light than the other mask, specifically around the nose, but the firmness of the eye cups is NOT a good trade off for this. I tried to get used to this for 2 nights and I couldn't. I am a side sleeper and the firmness of the mask and eye cups caused the entire mask to shift on my face when I laid on my side.When I laid on my back, the mask would press on my face under my eyes, which was super uncomfortable as well. If MZOO could make a hybrid of their two masks, that would be ideal. Keep the soft rounded eye cups from the mask half the price of this mask, and include the sewn edging to make it more durable. But like I said, I have owned the 1/2 price mask for over 2 years before it started showing its age. Sadly I have returned the more expensive mask and ordered the previous mask I bought as a replacement.

Forget about noise...this is a phenomenal product
I've always had a problem sleeping through the night. I'd fall asleep and then any ambient light or shadow passing in front of me and I'd wake up. I put the mask on waiting for it to fail and I'd awaken at 4 am. Imagine my disappointment when the next thing I knew was it was 8 am and the light was streaming into the room. I've used masks before and in general they were okay but never were near perfect. Well here's where it gets different...the MZOO sleep mask fit as if it was custom made for my face.As I said in the headline...forget about other products. They may cost less, but tell me the price you'd put on a great night's sleep?

Doesn't fit like the older version...
I had the older version for a couple of years and loved it. Recently lost it so went to buy a replacement, assumed the newer version would be even better... no such luck. I'm not entirely sure what they did to it, but it is just a horrible fit now.... blocks out the light all right, but also makes it difficult to breathe through your nose. If I try to position it higher so it doesn't squeeze my nose, it causes the under-eye piece to push into my eye-socket

Great light blocker
This eye mask is great! The package comes ready to be given as a nice gift with the box and paper. The mask itself blocks out any and all light. The plush cushion provides enough room for you to be able to open your eyes even without being squished. The strap is what makes it for me, it’s adjustable and flush so it’s not being tangled up in your hair or pulling it out.

UPDATE: customer service contacted me and offered a full refund/ the order model I liked better. If you are on the fence, I would recommend giving it a try since they are responsive.I got the upgraded one. The strap doesn’t move nearly as much as the old one but it has to go over my ears to properly fit.And it causes significant eye pain compared to the old one. The whole mask slides down my face. Not sized for afab.
