Secrets of the Congdon Mansion
J**R
Poorly executed
Elizabeth Congdon was the heiress to a multi-million-dollar estate in Duluth, Minnesota. In the early morning hours of June 27, 1977, Elizabeth was murdered in her bed. Her nurse bludgeoned to death on the staircase. The Congdon Mansion is not a work of fiction but is the true-life story of the Congdon murders and the pursuit to find the killer. This is a story that would interest people who like to read about true crime. However, I canโt recommend this book because it was poorly written, poorly structured, and clearly not edited. There are other books written on the subject, but I have not read them so I have no recommendations.

Nice summary of the Glensheen murders
This is the second book I read about the Glensheen murders. It's short and a pretty good summary. I'd recommend it over Glensheen's Daughter for that reason alone. You get the main facts without reading through all the testimony.

This was a good book to get into the subject of the Glensheen ...
This was a good book to get into the subject of the Glensheen murders but it is a newspaperman's account of the topic and written as such.

Four Stars
Exactly as posted, but book has very little actual information that hadn't been public knowledge.
