Great addition for the elderly
The switch works perfectly with Alexa speaker, manually and on the smart life app, I fitted the capacitor in the light which holds 5x gu9 5w led , good choice for a no neutral switch 👍

Simple enough to wire and just works
Quite easy to wire if you know anything about electrics.You will most likely need a spacer if you don’t have a massively deep back box. I 3D printed mine and it works great.Getting it setup in the smart life app is simple and setting times to turn them to dusk till dawn lights is a good idea too.

Does the job
Does the job but unfortunately is not the greatest build quality

Works great....with a 2.4Ghz connection and a deep back box.
I was a bit dubious of the reviews as they all seemed a bit too 'perfect'. It worked really well, and connected to the 2.4Ghz side of the home wi-fi with ease. Having installed a few of this design (not this make) for a few customers I was aware it needed a bigger back box or a single box spacer so was prepared for that bit.Connected to wi-fi network, and Alex app within minutes. Managed to rename and control with Echo with no issue. And now part of our nightly Alexa routine to turn off all lights.

Hard to connect then intermittent connectivity resulting in flashing on and off
Rubbish instructions for getting the app to connect to the switch. I had this switch installed by a professional and we managed to get it working only for the switch to lose wifi connection which resulted in a constant switching on and off of the led lights - don’t buy it’s a waste of money. If you do buy have your electrician on hand to fit as the Amazon time window for returns is shorter than most electrician waiting times 😒

wifi issues
all my other 2g only switches work fine on a mixed 2/5g wifi ssid...this one will only work without freezing on a 2g only ssid

Perfect replacement
I had a similar switch that I couldn’t get to pair to the Smart Life app. I replaced the socket and now it works perfectly.I’d buy again!

Doesn't work with LED bulbs very well.
The media could not be loaded. Flickering is visible to the naked eye.I should maybe have checked if LEDs were supported first.4 stars remain for price and ease of setup. Even hooking it up to Alexa was relatively easy.
