This is a great product other than the opening on the side

Great bags
My order of 2 sets of bags came early. They were in good shape not bent or creased despite coming in one of those flimsy mailer envelopes. My comics slid in easily. Didn't order backer boards but there is plenty of room to add later if I need to. Overall happy with the order.

They Work
If you have an expensive collection, go mylar. These work in the shorter term, and protect the comics. I have some of my collection from the eighties in Mylar, but the poly ones are not holding up as well. It is cost driven now, since the Mylar Bags are so damn expensive now. I do use these, and buy some mylar as well for the high dollar ones.

Availability
My father collects comic books but lives in a small town in Michigan. He has limited access to comic books and comic book supplies. Being able to buy him the items he needs for his collection is invaluable. He loved the sleeves and boxes.

Great for my silver age comics
These worked perfectly for my silver-age comics. They do not have an adhesive seal, but a small piece of tape or tucking in the fold works fine.

Too small for BCW silver age boards
I bought these to pair with BCW silver age boards, as the BCW silver age thick comic bags leave a little too much gap around the edges. However, the BCW boards will not fit in these BCW bags. From what I can tell, there really is no good combination of both BCW silver age bags and boards that fit right. I had a to use a different brand of silver age boards to fit in these bags. I won't be buying anymore of these.

too small for silver applications like Classics Illustrated
I was trying to fit my aging Classics Illustrated comics in these bags. These are too small for that application. If you have any frayed backings, these are so tight that they will grab and rip them. I have several Jr. Classics Illustrated and they won't even fit without curling the comic. Get the next size up for Classics Illustrated.

No adhesive. Be warned, if that's what you're looking for.
There are two different versions of this. The one that has an adhesive strip, and then there's this one, which does NOT. The adhesive version is about $14-15, while this bare one is $14-20. Why this with without adhesive is more expensive, I don't know.Personally, I have no use for them, and I honestly don't see why anybody else would either. Just buy the one with adhesive, and leave the plastic tab on it to keep it open, if you don't want to close it down and seal it.Bottom line: if you want the adhesive strip to make it resealable for your comics/manga, don't buy this version.

Perfect Fit!
I combined the BCW Regular/Silver Bags (7 1/8" x 10 1/2") with the BCW Regular Boards (6 7/8" x 10 1/2"), and they are a perfect fit for my comic books from the 1990's and up. The boards are just slightly wider than the books, and I feel that gives the books just a little bit more protection. This combination also fits double-size issues with no trouble. The clarity is fantastic, and I've used these to replace a number of aging bag/boards that were looking a little ragged.

Not as described
Too snug for my use with national geographic magazines. This does not have the 1 1/2'' flap as indicated in the picture so it's too small for my purposes.

Great Value
Only thing wrong with this product is that it doesnt fit 7" wide comics, adhesive tab would be nice too, but for what it is it is good value for the money
