Q: I am not familiar with hunting boots. Would these be good as work boots? They look exactly like a work boot

I don't actually use them to hunt. I use them as a work boot. And they are great. As good as a red wing boot but a lot cheaper. And no break in. These are comfortable right out of the box. Only con about them is the soft leather. I normally buy a wide shoe. But in these I get a normal since the sides stretch out some. So if you wear a wide get a normal. If you wear a normal you'll be fine.

Q: Do the soles last. I've bought a pair of irish setter hunting boots before for walking my dogs as the sole wore out fast

I've been acostruction worker for 30yrs and love them . Have worn them exclusively 4 years

Q: Can you change the sole on these? Or not?

I have worn mine many years summer and winter with snow and rain and I have not needed to change the soles. I have just purchased a new pair for my birthday. The old pair is not wp but the new pair is.
