Great price, good strings
I have amazon prime so I get free two day shipping and I know having looked at other music stores i.e. guitar center, musiciansfriend.com, etc...that the price these are is at least a few bucks lower than anywhere else. I love these strings and have them on all of my acoustics. They are very bright sounding and don't lose their sound easily. Plus for the price you really can't beat em. One thing I noticed is that buying 3 pairs individually is cheaper than buying a 3 pack...don't really understand the rationale behind that one but hey whatever floats their boat. Love martin strings on my acoustics. If I wasn't playing these I'd have Elixr on everything but the price of these makes it hard to compare. Try them, you might just like them.

"Excellent Guitar Strings"
"Super Cool Sound". The Martin M170 80/20 extra light guitar strings are exactly what I was looking for. The strings look good, feel good, sound great. They brought my old acoustic Ibanez guitar back to life. These strings have that "twang" that i like which helps me play better, sound better and they compliment my voice when I get vocal with the guitar. The strings are also affordable / priced right at about 5 bucks.

Wound Up For Success
Martin makes an excellent, high-quality string in a very wallet-friendly price point. I have purchased many of these strings--literally, probably 100 sets throughout my years as a guitar player. These strings have a nice sound, with brightness as well as a rounded bottom end. I would stock up on a handful of sets, especially if you are able to get the add-on price.

Lots of complex overtones.
These strings are not for everyone. Like all 80/20 strings, they can sound very metallic - but they also have lovely overtones that can make a standard six string acoustic evocative of a 12-string guitar. What's indisputable is that these are high-quality strings, which will last a long time. If you like the 80/20 sound, you should be happy with these, especially at this price. But be aware - these strings have a very different sound than most phosphor bronze strings. You might be startled by it. You might not like it.Or you might love it.

Il be honest here I didn't know strings could sound this good
I started buying strings at walmart and radio shack because i didn't have anywhere else to get them. i finally set a few of my guitars down and went out and bough new guitars because they were hard to play hurt my fingers and sounded horrible. i even stopped playing for a while because i started to think i sucked at playing. i decided to sell a few of my guitars because they sounded bad and hurt my fingers to play but wanted to clean them up and put new strings on them first for the new owners. After getting these strings and putting them on not only is the guitar easy to play now but the sounds is not at all like i thought it would be. The guitars sound wonderful and i have decided i'm going to keep them all due to these strings. Thank you for helping bring my passion to music back 5 starts all around

Martin Strings - Very crisp!
I have been using these Martin Extra Light strings for about a year - on my 4th set, not the same set of strings :) They sound great on my Fender acoustic! The strings, although being "Extra Light", are very resiliant. I have yet to break a string, even when I'm really rocking out on a good open E chord. Now if I just had the Martin guitar to go with these great strings!

Did these strings recently change or is it me?
I used to by these strings by the dozen back when they came in the little green paper boxes, because for the price they couldn't be beat. This is the first time I have purchased these in a while as I had several sets laying around and they just don't sound the same. Now this could be differences in the two acoustic guitars I have but on my 1996 Taylor 500, a wonderful instrument, these sound like absolute crap to the point I don't want to play it. 3 stars for reputation but minus 2 for this particular set.

Best Acoustic Strings
I love these strings, and use them for all of my acoustic playing. Best of all, I can find them here for $3.49 per set, so I'm not dumping a bunch of money on strings all the time. Easy to play, and they sound great.long lasting if you take care of them by wiping them down every time.

Ottime e squillanti
Spedizione come sempre perfetta. Arriviate in anticipo.

Relación calidad/ precio inmejorable .
Juego de cuerda que cumple perfectamente su cometido tiene muy buen timbre y por el precio que tienen no se puede pedir mas y después de un uso intensivo siguen dando la talla.
