I have basically purchased a brick.
Laptop never worked right out of the box. Said Windows wasn't activated. Wouldn't activate it. I tried every troubleshooting thing known to mankind on this. Finally made a boot USB thumb drive with a BRAND NEW $200 version of Windows I purchased since the one it came with NEVER WORKED... was just desperate to get it working. Guess what? That only made it worse. Now NOTHING works. I can't connect to the internet, I have no keyboard, no mouse, nothing works at all and it won't let me restore it back either. It's a brick. It is not nearly 5am and I have worked on this thing for like 12 hours. Tomorrow it goes back in the box and I just HOPE Amazon will take it back and either refund me or give me a WORKONG computer. I am at my wit's end. I'm disabled and chronically I'll, plus trying to care for my 94 year old Dad who is on hospice care and fell and broke his hip this week. This computer thing is about to be the final nail in my coffin. I was NOT expecting a brand new computer to add to my already unbearable stress. This was my first Asus purchase. I had really looked forward to getting this going as I'd heard such good things about them. I might have known if anyone would get a lemon, it would be me.

Excellent value
Fast, lightweight, full keyboard . . . I use this laptop for home and work. It's 20GB of memory, a great fast processor and long batter life are easily enough for me to do my Business Intelligence and Data Engineering work. Great laptop, excellent value.

Good quality, excellent laptop
The laptop itself is excellent, it arrived in perfect condition and just the day promised, I could highlight that the Amazon box was too big for the laptop box so it was moving throughout the trip and this could cause damage, luckily it did not happen, the description of the publication itself has some errors and this is important because it made me doubt whether or not to cancel the order, as a recommendation, ask before you buy! the computer so far works very well, the camera is not of very good quality but it would be the only defect to highlight, the battery life is in the average but when I turn up the brightness of the screen and activate the keyboard light, the energy is reduced quite fast. Good equipment ideal for work, I recommend it.

Wrong picture
Bought this thinking it would not have number keys on the right which shift the touch pad to the left, but it arrived and it indeed does have that. Not as pictured.
