Q: can one use metal utensils with these without scratching?

Yes, you may use metal utensils, BUT NOT "ABUSE" with sharp objects using unnecessary POWER. I love the nonstick quality which makes serving and clean up a true joy.

Q: Do you have to " season" these prior to use like you do for the pots and pans?

No you do not have to "season" these pans. Once out of the box simply wipe down each with a slightly damp cloth and they are ready to use. You will love these. I have them too and use them every day including a set of the pots and pans. Hope this helps!

Yes, It's Dishwater safe and super easy to clean
