This did the job we were looking for. There areonly 4 pieces inside. Our item wasn't too heavy, but we wanted the option of being able to remove without damage to walls. That remains to be seen.

I bought this to temporarily attach a pass to the front windshield of my car. I did not want to affix the pass permanently as I will only need it for a year. The residue left on windshields when a sticker is removed drives me crazy. I sacrificed one of these 4 small Velcro fasteners to ensure it pulled off the glass cleanly, and it did. The package says it will hold through temperatures up to 120 degrees F., which might be a problem in a car in the heat of summer. If it does escape the glass I have 2 more to use in the package.

These did not have much sticking power in my opinion. Perhaps I received a package that was defective. I returned mine. Disappointed, because velcro makes such excellent products. Perhaps it'll work for you

I tried using these to hang up a thin, inexpensive full length mirror and it did not hold up. Wouldn’t recommend for anything thick or moderately heavy. Even using several didn’t work.

Used these to mount the Satellite Radio charging cradle dock flush to my console, rather than on a window suction or dash top mount or air vent mount. Working well. I love Velcro & 3M products - combined they are +++++

Used to mount small decorative glass squares (not too heavy), because I didn't want to put holes in my walls. Worked perfectly!

Used these to hold stocking hangers on the mantle!!
