I received these as a gift and have used them three seasons now. The quality of the material and construction is fantastic! Waterpoof and windproof! I wear thermals underneath and hunt the majority of the season using it as a shell. The wear after three seasons is minimal, material, zippers, snaps and belt are still in excellent condition I would highly recommend these. My hunts are mainly in Alabama and I spend around 30 days in the woods hunting, so these do get a lot of usage. When it is 25-30 degrees I move to my Incinerator Aerolite Bibs. I just realized after three years the the single (front) pocket while great for storage is also place to store the pants. I bit difficult to shove them into the small pocket, but doable. AND yes, that is the purpose of the inside of the pocket zipper pull that will allow you to close the pants into a small bundle for putting in your pack! Overall extremely satisfied with these pants!!

This Pants are not 100% waterproof dont be fooled yes it is Gore tex material and can be water proof but not the zippers so imagine yourself wating for and elk or deer on a tree stand or natural blind and starts to rain (not pour) you will get wet from the zippers and this can compromise your hunt its like buying a expensive car with unreliable engine.I Wouldn't write this review upon a product that is cheap because you get what you pay for, but with this you just dont! these pants are definitely expensive and are not fully 100% secure. And dont worry calling Sitka about it if you already have them, Sitka wont help you! paying this much for water proof pants that leak? Definitely No! Sitka brand you let me down.

XL size is not for a 40” waist, they are way too small even around the rear and thighs.
