Great results. I added more lights. Sunvie stands behind their product.
The lights, transformer and photocell timer all work great. I am lighting plants and a small tree on my SoCal drought-tolerant front yard and have used these plus another eight lights to highlight plants and fill in dark areas. When we installed the landscaping I laid down the wiring at the same time. In one location the run is under a decomposed granite pathway so a bit of foresight meant that I didn't have to trench it later.I usually use white light but the colors are kind fun too. I had one light that stopped responding to the remote (i.e. wouldn't change colors) and then died completely. Sunvie customer service made good right away, thank you very much. When I swapped out the light I saw that the failed one was full of water, so the seal failed somehow. The others are dry.I'd say that if you're debating about how many lights to get, get the larger number. It is a better look to have more areas lit than to have pools of darkness. I have the timer set to go off at eight hours in the winter and six in the summer. That means the lights are on until about 2:00 AM on average. If it were photocell alone they'd stay on until dawn, obviously.I'm very happy with the look of the yard and I think I spent more time thinking about how to place the lights than their installation. Recommended without reservation or hesitation.

No fail easy install with magical outcome
Way too easy to install, why didn’t we do this earlier I ask. We chose coloured lights so we can do all the holidays, which we can do now. These lights were very easy to install. All you do is push the wire from the light into the long line that you buy separately. It makes connection when it presses into the wire. Easy. Didn’t need our handyman to do this. So don’t be intimidated. The most work here was digging trench to hide wire. You will love these lights, affordability and how it beautifies your home. Our handyman who installed them just gushed over them and is now recommending them to his clients. To install 10 it took about 3 or so hours including the digging for the wire. If you purchase them you will enjoy them very much. You will need to purchase the wire separately. But they are fantastic.

No Professional Electrician Necessary!
Overall: Inexpensive, easy to install, simple to operate, built to last, vibrant colors, and great customer service. Perfect for holidays, great for parties, and best on one color setting.I purchased these specifically for the Christmas season to add more color to my house. Now, I'm thinking Halloween too! The first pic (without Christmas lights on the roof) shows that these landscape lights make the whole side of the house glow, all the way up to the roof line! Despite my issues below, I am still satisfied with my desired outcome.Issues:- As I was setting them up, I noticed a single cap was missing off my fastlock connector. I messaged customer service and they sent me an 8-pack free of charge that arrived 2 days later. Great!- For some reason, the very last light I connected will not turn to green. Wasn't too worried since the theme was red and green, so I alternated the colors.- The lights are very difficult to operate individually, unless you do as one Reviewer suggested and set the color, then disconnect the light, set the next color, and so on.- The lights do not stay in sync when fading between colors. They eventually are all different colors, which is why they are best set to one steady color or flash.- The kit lacks detailed instructions for immediate success, otherwise complete set up took less than 2 hours. As for instructions, I would suggest:Tools:- Wire crimper/stripper- Butt splice connectors- Wire caps- Electrical tape1) Test lights with 9 volt battery.2) Set desired color during testing.3) Stake lights in desired areas.4) Lay low voltage wire on ground for length of all lights to transformer outlet.5) At each light location:- separate (ribbed) neutral wire from hot wire on landscape cable.- connect fastlock connector to (ribbed) neutral wire on landscape cable.- connect (blue) light wire to other end of fastlock connector.- connect fastlock connector to (not ribbed) hot wire on landscape cable.- connect (brown) light wire to other end of fastlock connector.6) At transformer outlet:- Separate (ribbed) neutral wire from hot wire on landscape cable.- Remove 1/4 to 1/2 inch of insulation off the end of each wire, exposing copper (just like transformer wires).- insert (ribbed) neutral wire into properly sized butt splice connector and crimp.- insert black transformer wire into other end of butt splice connector and crimp.- insert hot wire into a different butt splice connector and crimp.- insert red transformer wire into other end of butt splice connector and crimp.7) Cut excess landscape cable several inches past final landscape light, cap each wire, and wrap with electrical tape.8) Plug transformer into timer.9) Plug timer into outlet.10) Check that operation and color of each light is satisfactory.11) Unplug timer from outlet and wrap all transformer splices and light splices in electrical tape.12) Bury wire (I didn't do this because mine are temporary for Christmas).Note: Do not try to correct any electrical or connection issues while the cable is plugged into an outlet.I hope this helps someone.Cheers!

Disappointing Product and failed warranty.
Initially it worked great for a couple of months then some lights started to get wet inside with normal rain even after it’s advertised as waterproof. First warranty claim was accepted and three replacement lamps were sent timely with the third being a courtesy as only two failed initially. Great service so far. Then two more lights went bad (photos attached of three different lights) and the power adapter died for no reason. I’ve sent a couple of warranty claims with no response from Sunvie. Not even acknowledging my claim. Sadly a bad experience with no solution at the end.
