AUBREY Mens North Woods Aftershave, 4 OZ

I had used this aftershave for years, and even have a little left from a bottle that's maybe 4 years old now. I went ahead and ordered a new bottle more a month ago despite the concerning reviews saying it was no longer the same. Its definitely not the same. The scent is now much more of a typical men's aftershave smell. Its not bad, its just not the really nice cedar/woods fragrance that was the main feature in the past. For way less money I could get a more "generic" aftershave at the supermarket that would be similar to this current product. I don't know if the other reviewers are right that this is a fake - how could that be worth the effort?? But for what its worth the bottle does look different, with the label now being a sticker. The same applies to the aftershave balm product of the same company/fragrance. So I don't know what the story is, but its disappointing that this is no longer the great aftershave that it was. I'm not concerned about the fragrance "not lasting," as others have commented. I don't really want it to be like a cologne- I just liked that it was refreshing when I first put it on. The old and new versions are similar in that, far as I'm concerned. But I won't be buying this one again, its no longer worth the money.

I used this for several months, but ultimately determined that I needed something stronger. It smells pretty nice (for a natural product) and helped cool my face after a shave. However, after trying other traditional/alcohol-based after-shaves, I've determined that the classic "sting" is better on my face.If you want something very light and natural... then I'd recommend it. It's just not for me anymore.

I read the reviews about it not lasting long, that has always been my experience with non-alcohol colognes so I expected this. However since this fragrance smells a lot like Brut I decided to mix a little of these together(more North Woods than Brut) and sure enough it lasts longer when you do this and still retains the North Woods scent.

I bought this on Amazon because my local Whole Foods ran out. I've purchased this after shave for my husband for years - he wanted something simple to do whatever aftershave does to his face after he shaves, and after his old scent was discontinued he asked me to pick a smell that I liked. This stuff is simple, clean smelling, not soapy or heavy, not headache-y, and very cooling - no spice, all pine, but without the danger of smelling like Pine Sol. It's the antithesis of Axe (gag) and that's why I love it on him.

Strong pine smell but mixes with other scent and smells less pine if bottle is shook as suggested in instructions. Leaves some residue on hand after application you may need to wash off as opposed to other aftershaves that evaporate. My wife likes it or it would be returning. Not the woodsy,fruity scents I am used to.Came in excellent packaging. Other reviews are on the money. Strong suit is it is organic and therefore deserves some time to evaluate.

It's a really nice scent. My only complaint is that the screw-on cap does not close properly. The packaging consists of the bottle in a cardboard box surrounded by bubble wrap. The cap was slightly loose and the cardboard was soaking. What's worse, even after removing the bottle from the packaging, the cap won't stay tight. As with some of the other reviewers, I would also suggest increasing thr alcohol content to give a little more burn.

Nice aftershave. Gives a nice cooling feel to the skin. I've used the aftershave lotion for years, and actually thought that's what I was ordering. This is a nice change of pace. I think in the future, however, I'll get the lotion.

I love this product. I have been using it for 5 years... I love the fragance and so do my wife and kids... Good moisture...
