This is a lesson on how to fill butane lighters
Love these lighters, came exactly like pic, seem sturdy and well built, the main reason for this is to educate people on filling butane lighters, I have seen reviews saying they can't fill them more than 1/4 of the way, the reason for this is you must purge the gas from the tank before filling them I take a small screwdriver like the ones you get to fix glasses and push the fill valve until you have purged all gas in the tank (you can here it escape, when no more escaping gas sound is heard you can fill it to capacity

Those puny gas station lighters are no match :)
Was in the market for a “cool” lighter and came across a category of torch lighters and thought they were awesome with that intense blue flame on many of them. I found these pair of torch lighters by Ronxs and boy am I impressed by them. First things first, these are my first torch lighters ever owned so did some basic research on how they work and how to fill up on butane (NOT INCLUDED IN BOX OR PREFILLED FOR SHIPPING SAFETY REASONS OBVIOUSLY) had to go out and purchase my own can of butane in order to fill them up and use. Packaging is very nice and sturdy jewelry style box and once open the presentation is rather luxurious, aside from each lighter being individually wrapped in plastic and the infamous happy/unhappy review card, they did include a rather soft and nice quality cleaning cloth. The lighters themselves though empty of fuel have a nice solid weight to them as well as build quality is very nice almost elegant. I received the colors as pictured orange and a smokey transparent black, which appear better in person than in the photos as well as the metal finish in the flip lid. Pushing down the igniter you are greeted with a nice sturdy resistance and button itself is sturdy plastic, though mine were empty upon receipt, you are able to see the spark in the chamber if you press the switch a few times. LET THERE BE FIRE; I purchased a cheap can of zippo to fill these bad boys up and I would suggest laying down a towel or some cardboard before filling as this was my first time and did make a little mess. ALSO THERE IS NO MANUAL INCLUDED IN THE BOX, just some basic instructions in the item description which I’ve hope you’ve read :) Fuel level is easily visible through transparent tank and I adjusted the flame/fuel flow wheel +\- to lowest setting to ease in the flame. Pressing the switch you are greeted with a beautiful ghostly blue flame, or the blue flame from the bunsen burners in chemistry class. You immediately feel the heat on your hand and it’s ergonomic design makes sure your fingerprints are still traceable and unscathed. I have pretty large hands so finding a comfortable grip to close the lid takes some time, but once I did that “click” on closing it is very satisfying even just pressing slightly to release it it will spring open. It does mention that it has a cigar punch which is visible and accessible by pushing a pulling on a little sliding switch. Honestly have no idea how to use as I do not smoke but hopefully it works for whomever has a nice cuban laying around. In conclusion these are some neat and pretty gnarly lighters, main use for myself is just lighting incense sticks and other flammables. They are quite large but still find it comfortable enough to carry in my pocket. I do love the color options, orange for a night out in town and the mystery smoky black when you want to mean business. Overall I am very impressed with Ronxs torch lighters, and hope they last awhile.

Great Little Torch!
The media could not be loaded. These work great for an assortment of things! Lighting candles, starting bonfires, and if you partake in smoking they are great for any type of application :-) Even used one to solder some 3/8 copper, not sure if they would work on a larger diameter but worked great for my application and I didn't have to break out the big propane torch!!They feel good in the hand and are aesthetically pleasing as well. You won't regret your purchase. They are priced very reasonably for the quality as well!

Experience Shows DANGEROUS PRODUCT
I had written a positive review of these lighters after owning them for a about a week. They seemed fine but the flame height was very sensitive to small changes in the fuel contained in the reservoir. After using one several times a day for over a month, I have decided they are hazardous and will no longer use them. The height of the flame from one use to the next is truly unpredictable. I do not adjust the flame until at least 30 minutes has passed after a refill. Nonetheless, there is no consistency to the flame height. My goal is a blue flame that extends 1 to 1.5 inches above the burner nozzles. Achieving that is no problem, but that is almost never what the lighter will produce when used an hour later. Today, I was unpleasantly surprised by by a greater than 3 inch flame

Quality construction, works well
Although I was compensated for giving a review, It makes no difference. The quality of construction and the excellent function would have prompted me to make the same recommendation, even so. Although I have smoked pipes, then cigars, and then cigarettes as a young man, I no longer indulge. These lighters would work well with all three, but they also work well for various uses around my rural property, from lighting burnable trash, starting a fire in my woodstove, to lighting a propane torch for killing weeds and cactus where I live. Useful for a non-smoker, and even as part of the contents of a survival kit, in trying times.I have to add that the clever feature of a cigar rest on the top of these lighters may be of use to cigar smokers in need of a brief, safe place to set one down while they refill their glass of single malt, cognac, or bourbon. I am impressed by these lighters, and am glad to have them.

Broke first use
I bought these just last month and finally went to fill one in order to use it. I was adding fuel per the usual method and heard a *snap* and fuel started going everywhere but into the lighter.I though it must be the fuel can nozzle, it was about spent anyway, so I swapped it out for another brand new butane refill cannister and the same thing happened, it sprayed Butane everywhere but inside this cheap-o lighter.Something in the lighter housing failed under the normal pressure of adding Butane fuel. I've had Dollar Store lighters work better and longer. These were complete Chinesium junk. For both of these to fail immediately, I wonder how many reviews are real.

I couldn't be happier!
The media could not be loaded. As you can see from the video, these lighters have a good weight to them, seem very well built, easy to fill and adjust and are a pleasure to use. I love the fact that it's very easy to see how much fluid is left inside. And the fact that you get two of them for a great price and they also double as 'ashtrays' is very cool, indeed! The only question now is: Do I give one to a friend? Or do I keep it in case he uses mine someday and refuses to give it back? ;-)Highly recommended!
