Ladies' Plush Wrap Robe

This robe is SO SOFT! I got one for a Christmas present, and it’s awesome. I’ve had big fluffy robes before and they get stiff over time with washing or take up a ton of space. However this one is both warm and squishable. I hang it in the closet when it’s not cold and 6 months in, it’s still as soft as the day I got it. If I’m not in it, my dog tries to be in it... sometimes even when I’m in it...

The fabric is nice and soft and cuddly. I love that about it. But that's about all. The fit and the construction are both weird.Fit first. I have admittedly put on a few pounds during the pandemic so I ordered a robe one size bigger than my old robe which is made in the same general style. This new robe fits large on the top which was to be expected. And it's okay for the waist and hips but it flares open below that. In other words, blow my crotch the robe comes open. I am constantly pulling it closed. Given my previous robe, this should not happen.Now for construction which is the weirdest thing. There are plastic ties throughout the garment. I mean the kind that are punched through the fabric and hold a tag on the other end. Typically you cut them off to remove the tag and the plastic tie, When I first got it I noticed that there were ties on both sides of the garment that were holding it open (no tags, just the plastic ties). I removed the ties and tried the garment on and did not actually notice the problems with fit. So I washed the garment. And I started wearing it. And almost every day I would find another plastic tie somewhere in the garment. They seem to have no Rhyme or Reason for being there. But I had to keep removing them. I'm not sure that I have them all out yet. It seems ridiculous that they're even there.Had the weather not warmed up shortly after getting the garment I would have worn it more right away and would have sent it back. Now I'm beyond the time limit and will have to keep it. Very disappointing.

I love the color and the quick delivery. I was hoping it would be more plush and luxurious feeling. The robe forgets that women have hips, it has a straight line design from shoulders to hem. Therefore, altough it fits my upper half perfectly, it does not overlap properly below my crotch. I wear a size medium in women's clothing, but I am hourglass figuered.

I absolutely LOVE my new robe. Its so comfy and soft and beautiful. The color is a soft purple though not pastel at all. Its not too heavy or thick it keeps me warm but not hot like thicker plush robes do. Its got a pretty shimmer to it and the faux fur gives it some extra style and classiness. I hope it lasts a long time as I'll be sad if I ever have to part with it. Im 5'8" 135 lbs and got a small as i hate feeling frumpy and bulky in robes. It goes halfway down my calf and the sleeves are perfect length not short or long. I just love it.

The fit was good but it is made lopsided as in one of the arms is longer than the other side arm and it fits funny across the shoulders. Would not buy again
