Yes, as long as the item remains sealed and kept out of the sunlight.

Q: Can you use this on an ice cream cake?

It says it's best used with buttercream frosting. I'm really not sure how it would work on an ice cream cake.

Q: What is the actual size of the image?

We ordered this and it filled almost the whole cake. The whole page is the size of the cake. I'd say the TARDIS is about 2/3rds the size of the page. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with it. If you need the exact dimensions you can Google sheet cake sizes to see how big a 1/4 sheet cake is.
