Solid vacuum! I recommend
Love this thing. If you are into the Craftsman v20 family already (not the Sears brand of craftsman) , then this is for you. I’ve got tons of extra batteries so it’s not a big deal to just pop a different one on if I needed more vacuum time. The battery lasts a solid 20 minutes at full power. I don’t have anything negative to say about it . I like the ability to detach the top and use it as a hand held vac, too.It might not be for shaggy carpets- so if that’s you , it may be worth looking for something different . Other than that I would highly recommend it

so glad I bought this stick vac~!
I had been researching cordless vacs....driving myself crazy to find the "perfect" one. This is it! so many others are a) more expensive; b) battery is not removeable so when the battery dies the whole unit must be discarded! Unacceptable! This Craftsman is a reasonable price, has a removeable battery, is quiet, has headlights (and believe me you will be amazed at what you can see that you have missed!!), lays flat to get under a king size bed or sofa, stands on its own, and has 3 levels of suction, going easily from hardwood to carpet. Look no further and buy this unit!

Love my vacuum
I bought my vacuum for my motorhome. Also bought that brand because most of our tools are Craftsman and already had chargers for it. I love it..it’s lightweight but does the job of a heavyweight vacuum. Easily comes apart to empty and clean. It’s still new to me, I use it often. Pretty happy I bought it.

Suction is only OK, not good in corners or edges, dog fur only OK
I got this vacuum for Christmas. I had done a lot of research and my critical criteria was that it not only perform VERY well, but had to have a rechargeable, removable, replaceable battery. This is my 3rd vacuum of this type. First two, the companies went out of business! The maneuverability of this vacuum is very good. I like the light as well. The weight of the battery doesn’t seem to bother me. This house has a corgi, so the picking up of dog fur is VERY important. Compared to the last vacuum, this one does only a fair job in picking up the dog fur. When vacuuming the kitchen (Pergo flooring), this vacuum does a very poor job around the baseboards and edges. Tonight, there was a piece of potato chip on the carpet, and the vacuum could NOT pick it up. I have it on the strongest setting always, since that is what it apparently needs to pick up even small pieces of anything. The battery on the highest setting will only do about 10 minutes (15 at best). Cleaning out the container is yet another issue if you have dog fur. See the picture. There’s a plastic horizontal thing about midway in the container which the dog fur gets trapped and you have to use something to get it out. I had to purchase two more batteries to be able to do this 2000 sq ft home. I’m really not impressed with this one. If there was a better one out there, I haven’t found it, though.

Surprising little powerhouse
I have been on a kick over the last year buying Craftsman V20 Lithium powered products. I took a long time before choosing this machine. I always was leery about the batteries dying. I have had friends that have bought stick vacuums even ones that plug in and the reviews were mixed. This vacuum is very good and I purchased a 6amp hour set of batteries. I definitely get a full 45minutes on full power. The pros: powerful, pretty light, moves good , lays flat to get under things, easy on off for powered roller. Good add on tools. Sturdy and stands up on its own.The not so pro: small cup that fills up quickly. BUT the crud it pulls up will amaze you. The small washable filter pulls up some really nasty powdery dust. The cup does fill up and it requires cleaning out more often than one would like. The filter needs a really good cleaning twice per month. The parts click together well, but takes some muscle to pull apart. Would be nice to have an optionto charge withthe battery in place, but not a real issue. The cons: the 2amp hour battery on full power really is 20minutes. NO HOSE. Really would be great especially for cars. I managed to find one that fit from a dyson portable which is the most useless vacuum I've ever owned.
