At least it has lots of full nudity and gore
This is simply made for graphic gore and nudity. It's an indoor film that takes place inside a mansion, and the scenery of the old place isn't bad but isn't really worth mentioning; If you're looking for something with good atmosphere, scenery that's worth mentioning and something that takes place outside, then it isn't recommended. It also isn't recommended if you're looking for a well made horror movie because of these things: the directing will probably range from very poor to OK depending on your taste; with the exception of the performances from some of the women which is OK, the acting is basically below average; none of the characters are interesting at all; the film generates no suspense, scares, and the simple plot is nothing special; and the entire thing is just these people in this mansion being slaughtered. Basically, you've got these women who seduce and then slaughter men when they transform into demons. There's plentiful full nudity and gore. The women all look really good, and the film is a nice and dirty exploitation flick. The gore effects consist of stuff like a guy vomiting his guts out, ripped flesh, intestines being yanked out and more; and thankfully, they didn't use CGI gore effects. I thought the film was pretty well scored, so this helps it to some extent, but many won't like the directing and other aspects of the film. If you just want an easy to follow trash movie with lots of full nudity and gore, then you might like it; If you're concerned with anything else, then get something else. The film isn't slow, but gore and nudity alone may be boring if you don't like anything else about the film. I personally really like these types of trashy films when you've got these women who turn into monsters and butcher men. I had a lot of fun with it.There's trailers, a behind the scenes part and interviews for the extras. The Blu-ray has grain, but I still thought the quality was really good overall. However, my Blu-ray disc skipped and froze in some places. I bought it really cheap from a seller, so I didn't bother returning it. Shriek Show discs are known to have problems. If I returned it, my replacement copy would probably have been the same. I think it might depend on the Blu-ray player you're playing it on. The menu screen has animation and music. I got my new Blu-ray for like around $2.00 plus shipping, so I definitely thought it was worth it.UPDATEI tried it now on my Sony BDP S3700 Blu-ray player, and the problem is still there. Also, just like SHADOW DEAD RIOT, it has now gotten more defective. The disc is skipping more on both players now.

Into the bowels of Hell.
A group of paranormal investigators check out a haunted brothel. They divide up meet a demon/ghost that treats them to their sexual fantasy and then eats them. Pretty much it. Something about an amulet too. Terrible film all around especially the masks. 3 stars for the full frontal nudity.Parental Guide: F-bombs, sex, nudity (Jane Scarlett of "Satan's Schoolgirls", Caroline Hoermann, Barbara Joyce of "Satan's School for Lust", Ruby LaRocca who is in many Misty Mundae films)

Bad blue ray
I have Flesh for the Beast on DVD, and have never had a problem with it, just wanted to upgrade to the blu ray. I've bought 3 different blu ray copies of this film, and had to send them all back because the blu ray will not play in my blu ray player. The movie played fine for about 20 minutes, but then started freezing and skipping. At about 30 minutes in, it stopped completely and went automatically back to the menu screen. None of the special features would play at all. The manufacturer needs to go back and release this on a blu ray that will actually play properly!

So bad it's good!
If you want a slickly paced horror movie that makes you think and/or has you on the edge of your seat, pass this one over. If you want a horror movie that successfully mixes horror & humor, pass this one over as well. Now if you are looking for something that's full of schlocky goodness, this is the film for you.Flesh for the Beast's storyline isn't anything remotely new. It features a group of paranormal investigators who are hired by the owner of a mysterious & abandoned house to check it out. What follows is literally an orgy of sex & blood. The sex comes first, followed by the liberal shedding of blood by the hapless victim. Throughout it all you'll be rolling your eyes at how stupid the victims are even by horror movie standards & laughing at the sheer amount of nude shots thrown into the film. (Seriously, there's tons of them.)Is this film good? No. Does it fulfill it's basic requirement (to entertain) to the viewer? Yep, as long as this is the type of film you like to watch. Some will absolutely despise this film & throw it immediately into the wastebasket. Others will see this for the schlocky gem that it is & will immediately turn it into an impromptu MST3K session. For what it is, it's not that bad. It never takes itself seriously or tries to pretend that it is anything other than a cheesy horror movie, which works in it's benefit. If you enjoyed this film & want to know more about the film's succubi or if you merely want to read something in the same vein, I recommend tracking down the comic/manga book that follows the movie. It doesn't include the movie plot & instead has several new stories about the girls from the film.
