There aren't any instructions telling you how to make this kit. There is an online video but I can't download it so I have to keep going back to Amazon to the product page to review it. It goes pretty fast and you can't bookmark it so you have to watch it from the beginning each time. It's very pretty but would have been so much better with clear step by step instructions.

I got this for my 8 year old daughter who loves anything crafty or has anything to do with art. This kit comes with everything you need, including a little hammer for the nails. The first thing we did was lay out all the flowers to one side and started with the nails. My daughter hammered the little nails into the basket pattern by herself and then I helped to start her on the string part. This part was a little tricky but once you start understanding the pattern it's very fun to do. After the threading of the basket we wove the little lights around the basket and around the top, we did this with the lights on to see the design. After that you just place the flower stems into the basket and organize them anyway you wish. (covering the on off switch for the lights) It turned out SO CUTE. What a fun project! It comes with a holder that you can display your finished product. This was a fun activity to do with her. It did require a little encouragement and help from a parent but was very easy once she got the hang of it. Fun, unique craft idea.

I have been meaning to work up some string art from some ideas I've seen, but this kit got me to do what I had been meaning to. This was a great little kit to start me on that path. Everything in the kit was ready for me to put it together - the string, the picture with the holes for the nails, the flowers, etc. The only thing not in the kit was a hammer so you will have to find the one in your everything drawer to finish the kit! The basket of flowers turned out really pretty, so if you want to try a string art kit, this is a great way to start.

This is kind of dual sort of craft kit. You have the part with with the string. . then the part with arranging flowers. If you look at the listing pictures, you will see all of the item which are included with this set. . .including a little hammer!As for the flowers. . . You can also choose to add some of your own items to make it your own. Also perhaps for holidays.This makes a nice item to give to someone both just as a craft item. . . or. .. as a completed display.This craft kit is made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon.

I like to do little crafts but lose patience pretty quickly. This kit took me maybe two hours max and was very stress relieving! Some of the instructions are a little difficult to read in terms of spelling and grammar but even based on just the photo you can figure out what to do. The flowers smell very pretty and the light is a nice touch. It even comes with a little bag for gifting and the tools to mount it!
