Needs a trick to connect
Being 2.4 ghz only, it won't do the initial connection with a modern 5+2.4ghz router on 5ghz. Unless it has a switch (which my Sky one doesn't) you have to go to the edge of your signal coverage, so that only the 2.4ghz is reaching. But then after you've got the initial connection you can take it back within 5ghz it will keep working, and these work well,

Value for money but nearly gave up on it!
The device was very difficult to set up. As you pressed the reset button for 5 seconds, the device would go into a fast-blinking mode, indicating that the fast-blinking mode is to be chosen on the app. I had to disable the 5 GHz band on the router, so quite a bit of a hassle. But, the device would not connect, every time timing out. I was ready to return the device, but then held the reset button for about 10 seconds - really a desperate move. Then, the other, slow-blinking mode turned on! Then, I was able to use my phone to connect to a wifi signal generated by the device itself. This worked and resulted in correct pairing and connection. The devices connect perfectly well, can connect a 2 kW heater and are well integrated with Alexa. Perfectly fine. The only problem is the instructions. I think if it was stated that you needed to hold the reset button for 10 seconds, all would be much simpler. You would also not need to disable the 5 GHz band. So, communication/instructions need to be improved.

Makes life easier
Bit of a faff to initially install but once done makes life a lot easier. I’ve got a few different makes of smart plugs and this isn’t the largest of them so can just about for in a switch next to other chunky ones

Great product
I have a number of these plugs and they work really well. If you have problems programming them turn off the 5 GHz on your router, programme and then switch it back on; there should be an IP number on your router (something like 172.119. etc.) along with a PW, enter this info in your browser, switch off the 5 GHz, save the changes, programme the device, switch back on, save the changes and this should do it. Works with the smart life app and Alexa.

Good connectivity but a little long to set up
Good plugs as lower priced but Still allow alexa connectivity with voice commands. Takes a bit long to set up and won't work on tablet so had to use phone. Have to disable some WiFi settings for them to connect also. Overall good value for money.

Works great in combination with Bixbi Routines
I wasn't a fan of Samsung Bixby and I'm still not a very big fan of it, but what I *am* is concientous. And having read that charging your mobile phone overnight, whilst convenient, is not so good for your mobile phone battery because what happens is that your (Samsung) phone charges to 100%, then drains a bit, charges again drains a bit, charges to 100% etc. Each battery can only have a finite number of charge/discharge cycles before its performance degrades. All this to say that I want to break this cycle. I want the convenience of charging my phone overnight, but I also want to avoid all these unnecessary cycles.Bring on this Mini Smart Plug. I put my Samsung charger in it, and When I am ready to charge, I push the "Power" button to switch it on.I go to sleep and when the phone has charged to 100%, it sends a signal to the Smart Plug to switch itself off.

Forget the instructions enclosed
After trying a couple of times to set up I decided to look on YouTube and found 1 that was really helpful the main problem for me was my phone was connected via WiFi on 5GHz once the router had been reprogrammed (un tick 5GHz) it was easy
