This book is very good.
I recommend to read "Master Your Diabetes" by Dr. Mona Morstein. Because the information's contain in the book is very helpful in understanding what to do when someone suffered from a heart attack, kidney failure, obese or a severe type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

For me a little known fact, Dysbiosis can be cause of Type 2.
I Have not read the whole book yet, a little hard going. I looked up the word and disease and yes that was me. Its has taken me over 4 years to find out what is wrong and thousands of pounds in Consultants. I have now got to have targeted Antibiotics to kill off the Bacteria. I could not understand from the type of food I eat, why I cant control my Diabetes.

A Fantastic Guide to Diabetes!
This book is a gem. I am a registered dietitian studying for my CDCES exam and am doing a course on this book. It is such a thorough review of the disease and how to care for it: going over medications, insulin dosing, diet, supplements, complications, DMT1 and so on. I love that the author is a naturopathic doctor and so she gives a lot of insight on how conventional medicine goes about managing diabetes and how it “should” be done.If you you are a professional and want to be a better dietitian, nurse or even doctor, I highly recommend this book. If you’re a patient with diabetes and want to learn beyond conventional medicine (and want a deep understanding of your disease and how to manage it) this is a must read!!!Going into my exam and then possibly going into private practice, I am going to keep coming back to this book. It has inspired me to do better as a health professional. I know what we are currently doing is not working and I do believe this approach to disease is how we can get diabetes under control.

Outstanding preventive resource for pre-diabetics or those on the cusp of pre-diabetes
Though the target audience is for diabetics, I found this book to be an outstanding resource for those wanting to take meaningful steps to keep glucose numbers in check to prevent becoming pre-diabetic. There is lots of useful information on strategies, tools, tips, and suggested products to enhance nutritious eating to maintain overall metabolic health and gastrointestinal health. This book is comprehensive, well-researched, and evidence-based and is extremely easy to read, understand, and act upon. As a nationally board-certified health and wellness coach, this is truly one of the most motivating, engaging, and actionable health-related books I have ever read. Kudos to Dr. Morstein for offering this invaluable and very user-friendly resource!
