My wife is a retired art teacher. She loves these for some of her art work. The bevel helps them pop. Only wish they were as expensive.

As part of a bathroom renovation, I purchased a medicine cabinet that allows the incorporation of a picture/photo on the door. I had a mat sent with the medicine cabinet; however, it wasn’t quite the right size or color for my cat photo. So I ordered the Golden State Art mats because the reviews were good and I thought a white mat with a black inner boarder would work with my picture. I was really impressed by the packaging when I received the box of mats. Even though I only needed one, I bought a box of them because I didn’t see a single mat as an option. However, because the quality of the mats is so good, I will look for other opportunities to use the remaining mats. Obviously, I though it was a decent value for the money since I bought the entire box even though I only needed one mat. I also thought the box with different colored mats looked interesting. Since I couldn’t tell if one of the mats in the multi-colored box was white with the black inner boarder, I ordered the box with the single color scheme. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend these mats due to the high quality and the careful packaging which ensured that the mats were delivered in perfect condition.

Bought these as they were closest mat styles to ones I had bought from Topps for Star Wars Authentics framed photos. They were a really close match and they look great with the black frames I bought with them. Have already bought a 2nd set of these.

I have ordered this set multiple times. I am an artist and this gives me a a full presentation with the mat, backer board, and bag. The mats are a very good quality and thickness. They are packaged well and arrive as promised. I highly recommend this.

For others who like me did not notice in the product image -- the inner mat is a thin covering of black over a white core. As a result, the beveled edge that touches the picture is white, not black. It will work for my purposes, but would have preferred the inner mat to be solid black, instead of a white mat surfaced with black. Must have saved the company 3 cents to do it this way, hmmm.

I had some art prints that I wanted to frame and to make them look professional & stand out I wanted to display them with a mat. Couldn’t believe the great price I found on these double mats. They arrived really well packaged and I liked them so much I bought another pack in a different color way. Thanks So Much!
