Brother Genuine TN315BK, TN315C, TN315M, TN315Y High Yield Color Laser Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow Toner Cartridge Set

I've had a Brother MFC9970 printer (and its predecessor) for a decade. At one point along the way I decided to try the non-OEM toner. It did not go well at all, proving the axiom, you get what you pay for. Since then I've stayed with OEM cartridges, but sometimes some of the sellers describe something as OEM, but it really isn't. This review is just to acknowledge that all of my purchases from this vendor have been "the real deal". And these cartridges are advertised as the high yield cartridges, which I truly believe they are.

Exact replacement for my Brother MFC 9970-CDW. Can't comment on longevity yet, but been using for two months...clean crisp printing.

Both the black and the red toner cartridges leaked in this order of four cartridges. The red cartridge leaked creating a near solid 3/4 " red border along the left side. The black cartridge leaked intermittently across the middle of the page. Because I use cartridges more slowly than the Brother return policy, I have wasted paper and had to buy replacement cartridges. In the past, these cartridges worked until they were out of toner.

I have been a Brothers printers for more than 15 years. Have always used genuine Brothers toners..except once.Without thinking much about it, and probably attracted by the lower price, I ordered an off-brand and lived to regret it. The toner housing broke and spilled toner inside the printer. Paid over $150 to have it completely cleaned, not counting the utter inconvenience of transporting the printer to and from the shop.

Toner cartridges deliver good quality output. This is how printer manufacturers really make money. How can you use an excellent printer without toner?

Expensive, but they work. I've tried the "recycled" off-brand cartridges and they consistently give poor print quality and leave a mess inside the printer. Sometimes you have to pay the price for quality or you'll pay the price for lack of quality.
