I did what others suggested, doubled it up. Big mistake for my household! My husband uses about 3 shirts and 2 pants in one weeks time so he plugged my doubled up lint traps with his one weekly wash. The longer you wear, the more the lint, it seems. I am glad to keep some more junk from going down the drain, as we had to call the drain cleaner last year. Maybe a little filter helps from more frequent calls to a prefessional.

Without these washer discharge socks, our septic screen would be clogged often. Since using these, we’ve never needed to open our septic and clean our screen!

After the 1st one caused my basement to flood twice because it wasn't trapping any lint causing a blockage in the sink. I returned the rest.

These are junk! The top edge is just a raw edge and will come apart easily. The first one got a large "run" in it -- like panty hose that was snagged. This left large open gaps that would let the lint easily pass through. I threw them out!

Keeps my drain clean, love how well it works.

These did the job but not as well as others I bought with the water discharge it stretched and on one side it created larger holes that allowed some lint to escape but have only used one so not sure if all are the same

These lint traps catch most of the lint. I have a screen in my laundry room sink that catches the rest of the lint.
